Cultural Center Lojze Bratuz invites you to jazz concert Icelandic top jazz trio, * * Sunna Gunnlaugs Trio**, will perform 24. in May 2025 over the past 14 years, the trio has performed at renowned festivals such as the Vancouver Jazz Festival, DC Jazz Fest, London Jazz Fest, Oslo Jazz Fest, Belgrade Jazz Fest, as well as at the best European clubs such as Unterfahrt in M Funcnchen and Porg music & Bess in Vienna, with their captivating approach combining Nordic and American Music.
Jazz critic Kevin Animkhitlock of the British magazine **Jazz Animumise** recently wrote that Sunna is"undoubtedly one of the best jazz pianists and composers of today".
Another one of the british jazz critic Jon Newey, and her music, described as follows: "... The Sunna Gunnlaugs 'Trio, whose cool atmosphere and meditative quality draw inspiration from Icelandic folk melodies and gloomy soundscapes, but inside carry Bill Evans' unhurried amusing and desire to explore the inner soul."

Kulturni center Lojze Bratuž vabi na jazz concert Islandski vrhunski jazz trio, **Sunna Gunnlaugs Trio**, bo nastopil 24. maja 2025 V zadnjih 14 letih je trio s svojim očarljivim pristopom, ki združuje nordijsko in ameriško glasbo, nastopal na priznanih festivalih, kot so Vancouver Jazz Festival, DC Jazz Fest, London Jazz Fest, Oslo Jazz Fest, Belgrade Jazz Fest, ter v najboljših evropskih klubih, kot sta Unterfahrt v Münchnu in Porgy & Bess na Dunaju.
Jazz kritik Kevin Whitlock iz britanske revije **Jazzwise** je nedavno zapisal, da je Sunna "nedvomno ena najboljših jazzovskih pianistk in skladateljic današnjega časa".
Drug britanski jazz kritik, Jon Newey, pa je njeno glasbo opisal takole: "...
