Ziga Kastelic lost his mother, brother and father. Over a period of 10 years, he attended more than 10 funerals, it seemed to him that he was constantly surrounded by death. If anyone knows a thing or two about grief. In his new book, Too Young To Die old, a topic that has been hidden for too long comes to the surface, he says. He wrote it for everyone – first and foremost for those who have lost someone, those who are grieving, and those who would like to find at least a little solace in difficult times.
After the release of his debut book you, in my blood , in which he described caring for a mother who was battling alcoholism and then lost it, every conversation that Ziga had took in the direction of the topics that he describes in his next book – too young to die old. Death, loss, mourning.

V četrtek, 16. maja 2024, ob 19:00 vabljeni v Krajevno knjižnico Mokronog na predstavitev knjige Žige Kastelica Premlad, da bi umrl star . Pogovor z avtorjem bo vodila Anja Cesar, mag. psih .
Žiga Kastelic je izgubil mamo, brata in očeta. V obdobju 10 let je bil na več kot 10 pogrebih, zdelo se mu je, da je vseskozi obkrožen s smrtjo. Če kdo, potem on ve stvar ali dve o žalovanju. V njegovi novi knjigi Premlad, da bi umrl star prihaja na površje tematika, ki je bila predolgo skrita, pravi. Napisal jo je za vse – v prvi vrsti za tiste, ki so nekoga izgubili, tiste, ki žalujejo, in tiste, ki bi želeli v težkih časih najti vsaj malo utehe.
Po izidu svojega prvenca Ti, v moji krvi , v katerem je opisal skrb za mamo, ki je bila bitko z alkoholizmom in jo je nato izgubila, je vsak pogovor, ki ga je Žiga imel, peljal v smer tematik, ki jih opisuje v svoji naslednji knjigi – Premlad, da bi umrl star. Smrt, izguba, žalovanje.
Knjiga je tako preplet življenjskih izkušenj, pogledov na žalovanje in druge omenjene tematike, ki so v naši družbi prepogosto tabu, ter stigmo, ki jo vse to prinaša. Z avtorjem se bo pogovarjala Anja Cesar, mag. psih. Večer pa bo s petjem obogatila Petra Meglič.
