Through the story of the intimate relationship between a young Mexican dancer and a wealthy American woman with a philanthropic life mission, insightful social criticism of the contemporary colonial mentality and the neglect of migrants sounds.
Fernando is a very talented ballet dancer who lives in Mexico with his family. Like so many young artists, he dreams of Fame and the realization of his dreams in America. Convinced that his girlfriend Jennifer, who, with the help of a wealthy family, generously advocates for the art and education of dancers from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, will support him in this, he risks a dangerous illegal border crossing. But his unexpected departure to San Francisco puts an unconventional relationship to a difficult test.
I'm just a filmmaker. It would be enough for me if my siblings, Mexican immigrants and all other migrants received recognition for the good work they do. How to solve the border issue? I'm just a filmmaker, I know that my film raises a lot of questions, but I can't give any answers. I recorded a story that is primarily an intimate narrative about this couple. Sometimes I approach things differently, but here I focus on the intimate relationship of two.

Skozi zgodbo o intimnem razmerju med mladim mehiškim plesalcem in premožno Američanko s filantropskim življenjskim poslanstvom zazveni pronicljiva družbena kritika sodobne kolonialne miselnosti in zapostavljenosti migrantov.
Fernando je zelo nadarjen baletni plesalec, ki s svojo družino živi v Mehiki. Kot toliko mladih umetnikov sanja o slavi in uresničenju svojih sanj v Ameriki. Prepričan, da ga bo njegovo dekle Jennifer, ki se s pomočjo premožne družine velikodušno zavzema za umetnost in izobraževanje plesalcev iz socialno ogroženih okolij, pri tem podprlo, tvega nevaren ilegalni prehod meje. Toda njegov nepričakovani odhod v San Francisco postavi nekonvencionalno razmerje pred težko preizkušnjo.
Sem zgolj filmski ustvarjalec. Zame bi bilo dovolj, če bi moji sorojaki, mehiški priseljenci in vsi drugi migranti prejeli priznanje za dobro delo, ki ga opravljajo. Kako rešiti vprašanje meje? Sem le filmski ustvarjalec, vem, da moj film odpira veliko vprašanj, vendar ne morem dati nobenih odgovorov. Posnel sem zgodbo, ki je predvsem intimna pripoved o tem paru. Včasih se stvari lotim drugače, vendar se tu osredinjam na intimno razmerje dveh.
