An established author of children's and youth literature, she embarked on the path of adult writing for the first time with her collection of short stories Happy Endings. She brought to the fore female characters who, with their strength and vulnerability, expose and undermine the still strongly ingrained patterns of patriarchal society. For this work, she received the Marusa Kresa award.

Uveljavljena avtorica otroške in mladinske literature je s svojo zbirko kratkih zgodb Srečni konci prvič stopila na pot pisanja za odrasle. V ospredje je postavila ženske like, ki s svojo močjo in ranljivostjo razgaljajo ter spodkopavajo še vedno močno zakoreninjene vzorce patriarhalne družbe. Za to delo je prejela nagrado Maruše Krese.
