You are invited to travel in time! For the third year in a row, the windows in the Old Town of Radovljica are decorated with artistic paintings by the painter Mete schoolboy. This time, to welcome the 2026 Winter Olympics, we have woven winter sports into the city's outdoor gallery. Radovljica is strongly associated with sports. Here were and are at home individuals who set the milestones of Slovenian and world sports and won the most outstanding matches. We wrote more about them in our blog .
We invite you to take a walk through the Winter City Gallery. Walk all the way to the Church of St. George. Petra and to the lookout point above the Sava river. In times of climate change, this gallery draws attention to the concern for the vulnerable environment and we wish that in the Radovljica area we will also be able to preserve the tradition of winter sports and recreation in the future.
Meta schoolboy (B. 1989) is an academic painter from Radovljica. The artist creates and exhibits throughout Slovenia and the world, and has already received international awards for her work. It also conducts art workshops and courses.

Vabljeni na potovanje v času! Tretje leto zapored okna v starem mestnem jedru Radovljice krasijo umetniške poslikave slikarke Mete Šolar. Tokrat smo v pozdrav zimskim olimpijskim igram 2026 v mestno galerijo na prostem vpletli zimske športe. Radovljica je s športom močno povezana. Tu so bili in so doma posamezniki, ki so postavljali mejnike slovenskega in svetovnega športa ter zmagovali na najodmevnejših tekmah. Več o njih smo zapisali v našem blogu .
Vabimo vas na sprehod po zimski mestni galeriji. Sprehodite se vse do cerkve sv. Petra in do razgledne točke nad reko Savo. V času podnebnih sprememb s tokratno galerijo opozarjamo na skrb za ranljivo okolje in si želimo, da bomo tudi na območju Radovljice v prihodnje lahko ohranjali tradicijo zimskih športov ter rekreacije.
Meta Šolar (r. 1989) je akademska slikarka iz Radovljice. Umetnica ustvarja in razstavlja po Sloveniji in svetu, za svoje delo je že prejela mednarodne nagrade. Vodi tudi likovne delavnice in tečaje.
