The project was created with the aim of collecting stories, traditions and legends from the local environment and transforming them into eight cartoons – since October 2024, students from cross-border primary and secondary schools have been exploring settlements, interviewing grandparents and browsing libraries to find the most interesting materials. The event is thus dedicated to the participating schools and students who, through their imagination, research and creativity, helped shape the stories, and now we will see them together for the first time on the big screen. The project is being created as part of the European capital of culture GO! 2025. Two production studios – Invida from Slovenia and Gruppo Alcuni srl from Italy-joined forces in the creation of the final animations, and RTV Slovenia and Rai Kids also participate in the project.
The project is funded by the European Union from the go! 2025 of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 programme managed by EGTC GO.
Projekt je nastal z namenom zbiranja zgodb, tradicij in legend iz lokalnega okolja ter njihovega preoblikovanja v osem risank – že od oktobra 2024 namreč učenci čezmejnih osnovnih in srednjih šol raziskujejo naselja, intervjuvajo babice in dedke ter brskajo po knjižnicah, da bi našli najzanimivejša gradiva. Dogodek je tako posvečen sodelujočim šolam in učencem, ki so s svojo domišljijo, raziskovanjem in ustvarjalnostjo pomagali oblikovati zgodbe, zdaj pa jih bomo prvič skupaj videli na velikem platnu. Projekt nastaja kot del Evropske prestolnice kulture GO! 2025. Pri nastajanju končnih animacij sta moči združila dva produkcijska studia – Invida iz Slovenije in Gruppo Alcuni srl iz Italije, v projektu pa sodelujeta tudi RTV Slovenija in Rai Kids.
Projekt financira Evropska unija iz Sklada za male projekte GO! 2025 Programa Interreg VI-A Italija-Slovenija 2021-2027, ki ga upravlja EZTS GO.
