43. TOWARDS HEALTH
The Polzela Mountaineering Association invites you to a traditional hike towards health, which will take place on Saturday 17. January 2026
Meeting place: at 8 00 AM, parking at the municipality of Polzela (Maltese Road 28)
Return: same day around 15. hours
Equipment: mountaineering or winter sports clothing (mountain boots, walking sticks,)
Clothing: suitable according to weather conditions, windbreaker, windproof hat
Food and drinks: from the backpack, possible purchase at the mountain lodge
Transport: to the starting point own transport
Contribution: no entrance fee at the starting point
ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
PD Polzela organizes hikes towards health on Mount Olive, which is every third Saturday in January. This is Saturday, which precedes the day when the Holy Neza is held, who, according to the tradition of kuram, unties the ass (after this date, free-range chickens lay eggs again).
There are several approaches to mount Oljka, and on this day it is massively visited from all the surrounding places. For those who come from other parts of Slovenia and are not familiar with the route, we organize a guided tour from Polzela to mount Oljko every year. We will meet in the parking lot at Polzela Municipality.
For all who will come to mount Oljka and will want to confirm this, the validation of Cards will be organized on Saturday 17.1.2026 from 8h to 12h.
Walking time: to the top of approx. 2.5 hours

43. POHOD ZDRAVJU NAPROTI
Planinsko društvo Polzela, vabi na tradicionalni pohod ZDRAVJU NAPROTI, ki bo v soboto 17. januarja 2026
ZBIRALIŠČE: ob 8 00 uri, parkirišče pri Občini Polzela (Malteška cesta 28)
VRNITEV: isti dan okoli 15. ure
OPREMA: planinska oz. zimska športna oblačila (planinski čevlji, pohodne palice,)
OBLAČILA: primerna glede na vremenske razmere, vetrovka, kapa proti vetru
HRANA IN PIJAČA: iz nahrbtnika, možen nakup na planinskem domu
PREVOZ: do izhodišča lasten prevoz
PRISPEVEK: na izhodišču ni vstopnine
OPIS POTI:
PD Polzela organizira pohode ZDRAVJU NAPROTI na Goro Oljko, ki je vsako tretjo soboto v januarju. To je sobota, ki je pred dnevom, ko goduje Sveta Neža, ki po izročilu kuram rit odveže (po tem datumu kure proste reje spet nesejo jajca).
Na Goro Oljko je več pristopov in na ta dan je množično obiskana iz vseh okoliških krajev. Za tiste, ki prihajajo iz drugih krajev Slovenije in jim pot ni poznana vsako leto organiziramo vodenje iz Polzele na Goro Oljko. Dobimo se na parkirišču pri Občini Polzela.
Za vse, ki bodo na Goro Oljko prišli in bodo to želeli potrditi bo organizirano potrjevanje kartončkov v soboto 17.1.2026 od 8h do 12h.
