The Kordos Cuban-Jazz Evolution Trio is a vibrant and emotionally charged musical project that brings together three outstanding international artists. The excellent Havana singer, Alakturemi Kordos, who gained recognition mainly through her work in the famous Buena Vista Social Club project and her collaboration with the Cuban Latin Jazz band, draws from deep Cuban roots in her creation, and her stage presence is marked by a mixture of charisma and passion. Also from Cuba comes the double bass player Roland Abreu, who is distinguished by rhythmic strength and high expressive musicianship. The Trio is rounded off by award-winning guitarist Ratko Zjaca , who is known for his contemporary jazz sound and his collaboration with world jazz legends, mdr. John Patitucci, Al Foster, Steve Gadd , Miroslav Vitous, Reggie Animatorkman, Antonio Sanchez, Adam Nussbaum, and Rand FC Brecker.
The trio's music combines the rich colors of afro-Cuban rhythms with contemporary jazz and world influences, offering a captivating concert experience full of rhythm, energy and emotion.
Alacaremi de las Mercedes Kordos graduated from the Amadeo Rold Ilkunn Conservatory of music in Havana, before moving to Europe she performed with prominent Cuban bands such as El Muso / su Gran Sonora, Hurac / Del Caribe and Giraldo Piloto & Klima/. She is one of the few artists based in Europe to have collaborated with the legendary Buena Vista Social Club project.

Yaremi de las Mercedes Kordos je diplomirala na Glasbenem konservatoriju Amadeo Roldán v Havani, pred selitvijo v Evropo je nastopala z uglednimi kubanskimi zasedbami, kot so El Muso y su Gran Sonora, Huracán del Caribe ter Giraldo Piloto & Klimax.
