Nuclear Altar is an hc punk / metalpunk band from Pozhega, active since 2013, who comes to MIKK to present their new album "Golet". Nuclear Altar continues the distinctive hardcore crust punk sound from Pozega. While the city itself is increasingly deserted, lost in the emptiness of modern times, the survivors continue their cursed mission, attacking again and again as ghosts unable to find peace.
With roots in d-beat cruelty and crust apocalypticism, early hc punk sincerity 80s. flight and uncompromising 90s. let is a "Golet" album that also brings bitter originality. These are their anthems of the present time, Epic punk rock dystopias, where, if necessary, melodies and more complex structures complement the sound, while never forgetting the immediacy and dirt of the street.
Texts in Croatian are also an important part-dark, minimalistic, poetic. Anger and hopelessness, all masks have fallen, only a broken mirror and a harsh truth remain. The future Nuclear Altar walks through a barren, eternal desert is just as merciless.
The Album closes with a return to the roots of the local underground sound – with two older tracks in English that are more relevant today than ever. In addition to" Golet", the band boasts three more releases:"Blessed Ruins "(2013)," Mankind in Decline "(2017), and" " (2024).
Nuclear Altar consists of: Nena on drums, Mata and Panto on guitars, and KKTZ on bass guitar and vocals.

Nuclear Altar je hc punk/metalpunk bend iz Požege, aktiven od leta 2013, ki v MIKK prihaja predstavit svoj novi album »Golet«. Nuclear Altar nadaljuje značilni hardcore crust punk zvok iz Požege. Medtem ko je samo mesto vse bolj zapuščeno, izgubljeno v praznini sodobnega časa, preživeli nadaljujejo svojo prekletno misijo ter znova in znova napadajo kot duhovi, ki ne morejo najti miru.
S koreninami v d-beat krutosti in crust apokalipticizmu, zgodnji hc punk iskrenosti 80. let in brezkompromisnosti 90. let je »Golet« album, ki prinaša tudi grenko izvirnost. To so njihove himne sedanjega časa, epske punk rock distopije, kjer po potrebi melodije in kompleksnejše strukture dopolnjujejo zvok, pri tem pa nikoli ne pozabijo na neposrednost in umazanijo ulice.
Pomemben del so tudi besedila v hrvaškem jeziku – temna, minimalistična, poetična. Jeza in brezup, vse maske so padle, ostane le razbito ogledalo in ostra resnica. Prihodnost, po kateri Nuclear Altar hodi skozi neplodno, večno puščavo, je prav tako neusmiljena.
Album se zaključi z vrnitvijo h koreninam lokalnega underground zvoka – z dvema starejšima skladbama v angleščini, ki sta danes bolj aktualni kot kdajkoli prej. Poleg »Golet« se bend lahko pohvali še s tremi izdajami: »Blessed Ruins«(2013), »Mankind in Decline« (2017) in »Wasteland Filth« (2024).
Nuclear Altar sestavljajo: Neno na bobnih, Mata in Panto na kitarah ter KKTZ na bas kitari in vokalu.
