The festival is a traditional weekend event, which will also take place on dobrava at Lake Zbilje (Medvode) from 07. to 09. in August 2026. It is the largest counter-and BB-festival in Slovenia and one of the largest in Europe. The main purpose of the festival is to align the country, and the BBQ culture, slovenkam and slovencem, the promotion of Medvod, Ljubljana, Slovenia, in the world, and the expansion of the family's values, and all of our great desire to visitors and participants, to provide a memorable experience for you and each year, traditionally reaching out to our festival.
This year, in a family-colored festival atmosphere at Lake Zbilje, all visitors will also be offered workshops of countertreme dances, a demonstration of the preparation of a real American BBTREME, a large international BBTREME competition, an equestrian program with free riding option, free riding of a mechanical bull, concerts of renowned domestic and foreign countertreme groups, musical background of Slovenian countertreme DJs, a choir of American cars and motorcycles, the purchase of clothes, hats, boots and other thematic offers at the stands, and of course a thematic culinary offer of food and drinks.

Festival WILD WEST FEST ON FIRE je tradicionalni vikend dogodek, ki se bo tudi tokrat odvijal na dobravi ob Zbiljskem jezeru (Medvode) in sicer od 07. do 09. avgusta 2026. Gre za največji COUNTRY in BBQ festival v Sloveniji in enega največjih v Evropi. Osnovni namen festivala je približevanje country in BBQ kulture slovenkam in slovencem, promocija Medvod, Ljubljane in Slovenije v svetu in širjenje družinskih vrednot, vse z našo veliko željo, obiskovalcem in udeležencem zagotoviti nepozabno izkušnjo in vas vsako leto tradicionalno privabiti na naš festival.
Vsem obiskovalcem bomo tako tudi letos v družinsko obarvanem festivalskem vzdušju ob Zbiljskem jezeru ponudili delavnice country plesov, demonstracijo priprave pravega ameriškega BBQ-ja, veliko mednarodno BBQ tekmovanje, konjeniški program z brezplačno možnostjo jahanja, brezplačno jahanje mehanskega bika, koncerte priznanih domačih in tujih country skupin, glasbeno podlago slovenskih country DJ-ev, zbor ameriških avtomobilov in motorjev, nakup oblačil, klobukov, škornjev in ostale tematske ponudbe na stojnicah, ter seveda tematsko kulinarično ponudbo hrane in pijače.
