In November 2024, an album by the band Vsemag entitled The Tenth of truth was released. The Album is a continuation of the creation of a young musician Ozbe Rakovac , who over the years, under the pseudonym vsemag, released three noticed noise-ambient albums. On this album, he joins forces for the first time with his father, a classical and jazz guitarist with a rich career, Uros Rakovac and his brother Jakob Rakovac on drums.
At the request of the younger son, 12 compositions of a wide range of impressions and feelings were created with the participation of his father and brother. The creation of the album The Tenth of truth is a search for a common sound and expression that resonates two different generations and two different views of music. Of course, it was also a unique opportunity to connect and socialize sentimentally. A small idea of joint creation thus grew into a family collaboration album.
The atmosphere of the record is intimate and melancholic with very personal lyrics, very emotional and catchy at times and dark and shattering at others. The vsemag group creates music that, on the one hand, rests on established forms, and on the other, breaks them. Jazz overplay, rocker riffs and rhythms, pop melodies, Classic Instruments on the one hand; on the other hand, noise, drone and ambient electronics, unsteady forms and narrative vocals. Post-rock, mid-modest, shoegaze are the genres that define Vsemag.
11. septembra v Stolp Škrlovec prihaja skupina Vsemag! Vstop prost!
Novembra 2024 je izšel album skupine Vsemag z naslovom Desetina resnice. Album je nadaljevanje ustvarjanja mladega glasbenika Ožbeja Rakovca , ki je v preteklih letih pod psevdonimom Vsemag izdal tri opažene noise-ambientalne albume. Na tem albumu prvič združi moči z očetom, klasičnim in jazz kitaristom z bogato kariero, Urošem Rakovcem ter bratom Jakobom Rakovcem na bobnih.
Na željo mlajšega sina je ob sodelovanju očeta in brata nastalo 12 skladb širokega nabora vtisov in občutij. Ustvarjanje albuma Desetina resnice je iskanje skupnega zvoka in izraza, ki odzvanja dve različni generaciji in dva različna pogleda na glasbo. Seveda pa je bila to tudi enkratna prilika za povezovanje in sentimentalno druženje. Majhna ideja skupnega ustvarjanja je tako prerasla v album družinskega sodelovanja.
Vzdušje plošče je intimno in melanholično z zelo osebnimi besedili, na trenutke zelo čustveno in spevno in na druge temačno in razbijaško. Skupina Vsemag ustvarja glasbo, ki se na eni strani naslanja na ustaljene forme, po drugi strani pa jih razbija. Jazz preigravanje, rockerski riffi in ritmi, pop melodije, klasični inštrumenti po eni strani; po drugi strani pa noise, drone in ambientalna elektronika, neustaljene forme in pripovedni vokal. Post-rock, midwest, shoegaze so žanri, ki opredeljujejo Vsemag.
