The latest book by the editor and mountaineer Vladimir Habyan on lonely paths: walking across the Carnians and through life is an intimate autobiographical narrative in which the author embarks on a mountain path towards a deeper understanding of himself — through the lonely paths of the Carnian Alps, through memories, trials and inner search. In the book, Habjan combines his many years of mountaineering experience with his life paths: he walks us over wild valleys and Carniolan passes, through changes in weather and mood, from the beginnings in the mountains that he discovered in childhood with his father, to moments when he himself pushes the boundaries and seeks his own direction in life.
You are invited to talk with the author about how this type of travel is born, what solitude in the mountains means, how to deal with uncertainty and what the mountains teach us about life.
About the author:
Vladimir Habjan - Haubi (1957) is a guide of the Alpine Association of Slovenia, mountain guard, mountaineer and mountain rescuer. He has been involved in mountaineering since he was a child, when his father introduced him to the beauty of the hills. He started writing in elementary school and has published ten mountaineering guides, some co-authored. His most famous guide is off-road. He is also the author of three fiction books over the edge, living with the mountains and groping in the unknown. Since 2001 he has been the editor of Planinski Vestnik, and since 2017 he has also been the editor of the Planinska publishing house at the Planinska Zvezda Slovenije. On lonely paths is his most personal book ever.
The bookstore is open every festival day from 17.00 to 21.00, on Saturdays also from 10.00 to 13.00. You can find it at 26 .
Another attempt to establish an independent modern city bookstore, this time in the middle of Shutna. A more modern literary production will be sold in the bookstore, both for adults and for children, there will also be many stone authors. The City bookstore Kamnik operates in cooperation with the bookstore at the stone table , which operates in the Vodnik homestead in Ljubljana. Every day there will be various activities in the bookstore, of course related to books and literary creation.

Najnovejša knjiga urednika in alpinista Vladimirja Habjana Na samotnih poteh: Peš čez Karnijce in skozi življenje je intimna avtobiografska pripoved, v kateri se avtor poda na gorsko pot h globljemu razumevanju samega sebe — skozi samotne poti Karnijskih Alp, skozi spomine, preizkušnje in notranje iskanje. V knjigi Habjan združi svoje dolgoletne gorniške izkušnje s svojimi življenjskimi potmi: sprehodi nas čez divje doline in karnijske prelaze, skozi spremembe vremena in razpoloženja, od začetkov v gorah, ki jih je v otroštvu odkrival z očetom, do trenutkov, ko sam premika meje in išče svojo smer v življenju.
Vabljeni na pogovor z avtorjem o tem, kako se rodijo tovrstna potovanja, kaj pomeni samota v gorah, kako se spoprijeti z negotovostjo in kaj nas gore naučijo o življenju.
O avtorju:
Vladimir Habjan - Haubi (1957) je vodnik Planinske zveze Slovenije, gorski stražar, alpinist in gorski reševalec. Z gorništvom se ukvarja vse od otroških let, ko mu je lepote hribov predstavil oče. Pisati je začel že v osnovni šoli, do danes pa je objavil že deset gorniških vodnikov, nekatere tudi v soavtorstvu. Njegov najbolj znani vodnik je Brezpotja. Je tudi avtor treh leposlovnih knjig Čez rob, Živeti z gorami in Tipanje v neznanem. Od leta 2001 je urednik Planinskega vestnika, od leta 2017 pa tudi urednik Planinske založbe pri Planinski zvezi Slovenije. Na samotnih poteh je njegova najbolj osebna knjiga doslej.
Knjigarna je odprta vsak festivalski dan od 17.00 do 21.00, ob sobotah tudi od 10.00 do 13.00. Najdete jo na Šutni 26 .
Ponovni poizkus vzpostavitve neodvisne sodobne mestne knjigarne, tokrat sredi Šutne. V knjigarni bo naprodaj sodobnejša literarna produkcija, tako za odrasle kot za otroke, veliko bo tudi kamniških avtorjev. Mestna knjigarna Kamnik deluje v sodelovanju s knjigarno Pri kamniti mizi , ki deluje v Vodnikovi domačiji v Ljubljani. Vsak dan se bodo v knjigarni dogajale različne aktivnosti, seveda povezane s knjigami in literarnim ustvarjanjem.
