On the International Children's Book Day, 2. in April, we celebrate the birthday of one of the greatest storytellers of all time, Hans Christian Andersen . The library of B. Benesha Buchlovan from the Czech Republic is the initiator and coordinator of the very special international project night with Andersen, in which more than 1,600 libraries and schools in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Croatia, Australia, Greece, Spain, Kenya and elsewhere in the world participate, in total in 16 countries. In our country, the first project was joined by the Anton Tomaz Linhart Library from Radovljica. For many years, the Pavel Golia Trebnje Library has also participated in the project – with the evening with Andersen event.
The evening with Andersen takes place so that children from 6. to 9. classes spend the evening in the library, where they learn about the work and life of H. C. Andersen in various entertaining ways.
This year's evening with Andersen will be held on the 12th. 4. 2024 from 17.30 to 24.00.

Na mednarodni dan knjig za otroke, 2. aprila, obeležujemo rojstni dan enega izmed največjih pravljičarjev vseh časov, Hansa Christiana Andersena . Knjižnica B. Beneše Buchlovana s Češke je pobudnica in koordinatorica prav posebnega mednarodnega projekta Noč z Andersenom, v katerem sodeluje že preko 1.600 knjižnic in šol na Češkem, Slovaškem, Poljskem, Hrvaškem, v Avstraliji, Grčiji, Španiji, Keniji in drugod po svetu, skupaj v 16 državah. Pri nas se je prva projektu pridružila Knjižnica Antona Tomaža Linharta iz Radovljice. Že vrsto let pa v projektu sodeluje tudi Knjižnica Pavla Golie Trebnje – z dogodkom Večer z Andersenom.
Večer z Andersenom poteka tako, da otroci od 6. do 9. razreda preživijo večer v knjižnici, kjer se na različne zabavne načine spoznajo z delom in življenjem H. C. Andersena.
Letošnji V ečer z Andersenom bo potekal 12. 4. 2024 od 17.30 do 24.00.
