AN EVENING OF ARABIC LITERATURE
THREE MEMORIES: BETWEEN HAIFA, ALEPPO AND LJUBLJANA
This time, Kud Laterna invited journalist and writer Andraz Rozhman and writer Mohamad Al Munem to the Black Sea region.
Andraz Rozman was born in Novo Mesto and then spent most of his life in Mengsh. He has been associated with journalism for 15 years, in which he has always been most attracted by reportage and interview, and especially by the stories of people whose voices are not heard. Since 2005, he has been working on The Daily, where he was employed in sports and Ljubljana reduction. He also published in other sections and Dnevnik's lens, and at work completed his studies in journalism at the Faculty of Social Sciences. In recent years, he has also been engaged in literary journalism, with the literary part becoming more expressive and seeking to develop it further. He was greatly influenced by the arrival of refugees, who opened up new expanses for him, and the functioning of the migrant community at the Rog factory. Three memories is his book debut. At the time when the wire was being laid on the Slovenian borders, the Syrian publisher and poet Mohamad Al Munem came to Slovenia along the dangerous Mediterranean route and unexpectedly remained in it. The poet from Aleppo was already born as a refugee, his story, recorded in three memoirs, is not only the story of a lively intellectual event in Aleppo, but dates back to the time before his birth, when his father and mother had to flee from Palestine, it is the story of a refugee family, its happiness, misfortune and almost incredible dramatic turns of fate.

Trije spomini so njegov knjižni prvenec.
