The public conversation will take place within the framework of the accompanying program on the occasion of the exhibition Vesna Bukovec and Anna Qigon work in progress. Deceptive working hours at Meduza Gallery in Koper. The exhibition is part of several years of artistic-curatorial research, which critically focuses on precarious work and contemporary forms of neoliberal exploitation of people, nature and the planet. At the same time, he is looking for other ways of organizing a society that does not succumb to the hopelessness that nothing can be changed. The exhibition follows from the considerations of several interlocutors and three books: Bulshihti: The Theory of David Graeber, restoration of capitalism: the repatriarchalization of society by Lilijana Burcar and Proceedings of degrowth: a vocabulary for a new age .
The authors of the exhibition invited the ambassador of Social Economy and activist Jadranka Vesel (Research Institute for Social Economy RISE), who is also one of the collaborators of the project work in progress and one of the interlocutors in the video at the current exhibition, to moderate the discussion. She will talk with the researcher of social and solidarity economics, Dr. Karolina Babic, employed at the Faculty of Education of the University of Primorska and Dr. Blaz Kosovel, editor of the Razpotja magazine and writer of the accompanying word to the Slovenian edition of Bulshihts by David Graeber (publishing house /* CF.).
Jadranka Vesel addressed this conversation about deceptive working hours, deceptive humanity ... and invites an engaged audience to the discussion in addition to the interlocutor and the interlocutor: “at the exhibition in 2022, we dedicated the round table to work and community, today we should dedicate it to humanity. If at that time we talked about Labor, its precarious forms on the border of slavery, today we are getting confirmation that we are people superfluous. We are shrinking all social safety nets to provide money for militarization. Even genocide is becoming profitable. We need to squeeze everything and more out of everyone, so that profits grow, even if by killing, demolishing, degrading, exploiting man and natural resources to an extent that threatens our very existence.
It is time to raise our heads to stand up for every person, for everything that surrounds us, for the protection of the planet we call Earth.

Javni pogovor se bo odvil v okviru spremljevalnega programa ob razstavi Vesne Bukovec in Ane Čigon Delo v nastajanju. Varljivi delovni čas v Galeriji Meduza v Kopru. Razstava je del večletne umetniško-kuratorske raziskave, ki se na kritičen način posveča prekarnemu delu in sodobnim oblikam neoliberalnega izkoriščanja ljudi, narave in planeta. Ob tem pa išče drugačne načine organiziranja družbe, ki ne podlega brezupu, da se ničesar ne da spremeniti. Razstava izhaja iz premislekov več sogovornic in treh knjig: Bulšihti: teorija Davida Graeberja, Restavracija kapitalizma: repatriarhalizacija družbe Lilijane Burcar in zbornika Odrast: besednjak za novo dobo .
Avtorici razstave sta k moderiranju razprave povabili ambasadorko socialne ekonomije in aktivistko Jadranko Vesel (Raziskovalni inštitut za socialno ekonomijo RISE), ki je tudi ena izmed sodelavk projekta Delo v nastajanju in ena od sogovornic v videu na aktualni razstavi. Pogovarjala se bo z raziskovalko socialnih in solidarnostnih ekonomij dr. Karolino Babič, zaposleno na Pedagoški fakulteti Univerze na Primorskem in dr. Blažem Kosovelom, urednikom revije Razpotja ter piscem spremne besede k slovenski izdaji Bulšihtov Davida Graeberja (Založba /* cf. ).
Jadranka Vesel je tokratni pogovor naslovila Varljivi delovni čas, varljiva človečnost … in k razpravi poleg sogovorke in sogovorca vabi tudi angažirano publiko: “Na razstavi leta 2022 smo okroglo mizo posvetili delu in skupnosti, danes bi jo morali posvetiti človečnosti. Če smo takrat govorili o delu, njegovih prekarnih oblikah na meji suženjstva, dobivamo danes potrditev, da smo ljudje odveč. Vse socialne varnostne mreže krčimo, da bomo zagotovili denar za militarizacijo. Profitabilen postaja celo genocid. Iztisniti je treba vse in še več iz vsakogar, zato, da bodo dobički rastoči pa čeprav s pobijanjem, rušenjem, poniževanjem, izkoriščanjem človeka in naravnih virov do mere, ki ogroža naš obstoj.
Čas je, da dvignemo glave, da se zavzamemo za vsakega človeka, za vse, kar nas obkroža, za zaščito planeta, ki mu pravimo Zemlja.
