The bilingual text explores the origins of the chevapcichs, which in various forms are common to many Balkan and Mediterranean peoples. The starting point of the story is the World Meeting of bankers, at which everyone who ordered chevapcici owns them. An all-out quarrel begins, and the chef is forced to intervene in this dispute with the help of friends from different countries, who contribute to the solution of the issue with their knowledge. In this cuisine, history, anthropology, ethnography and, of course, cuisine are mixed, allowing viewers to discover delicious and surprising secrets about a popular specialty with a very long story that goes back to the Phoenicians.

The Komigo Festival, a Comedy Theatre in Slovene, Italian and Friulian, is organized by the cultural centre of Gorizia, in cooperation with the Teatro SNG Nova Gorica, the Cultural Centre Nova Gorica, the Slovenian permanent theatre (SSG) from Trieste, The Musical Matica, the Santa Croce Academy of music from the Cross near Trieste, the Maja cultural cooperative from Gorizia (Across the border), the PijaR agency from Kranj and the cultural societies: Sovodnje, the Kras brass Orchestra from Doberdob. The project sponsors are the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica (ECOC 2025), Sovodnje OB Sochi and Doberdob and the Slovenian cultural economic association (SKGZ). Financial contributions to the Komigo 25 Project are made by the land of FJK, the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians abroad and abroad, and the foundation of the Gorizia Savings Bank.

Dvojezični tekst raziskuje izvor čevapčičev, ki so v različnih oblikah skupni mnogim balkanskim in sredozemskim narodom. Izhodišče zgodbe je svetovno srečanje bankirjev, na katerem vsi, ki so naročili čevapčiče, si jih lastijo. Začne se vsesplošem prepir in chef je primoran poseči v ta spor s pomočjo prijateljev iz raznih držav, ki prispevajo k rešitvi vprašanja s svojim znanjem. V tej kuhinji se pomešajo zgodovina, antropologija, etnografija in seveda kulinarika, kar gledalcem omogoča odkrivanje okusnih in presenetljivih skrivnosti o priljubljeni specialiteti z zelo dolgo zgodbo, ki sega do Feničanov.

Festival Komigo, komično gledališče v slovenskem, italijanskem in furlanskem jeziku, prireja Kulturni dom iz Gorice, v sodelovanju s teatrom SNG Nova Gorica, z Kulturnim domom Nova Gorica, s Slovenskim stalnim gledališčem (SSG) iz Trsta, z Glasbeno matico, z Glasbeno akademijo Santa Croce iz Križa pri Trstu, z kulturno zadrugo Maja iz Gorica (Across the border), z Agencijo PijaR iz Kranja ter s kulturnimi društvi: Sovodnje, pihalni orkester Kras iz Doberdoba. Pokrovitelji projekta so občine Gorica, Nova Gorica (EPK 2025), Sovodnje ob Soči in Doberdob ter Slovensko kulturno gospodarska zveza (SKGZ).
