You are invited to the opening of the exhibition of the Graz photographer Christoph Grill , in the UGM Cabinet, which will take place on Friday, 16. in January 2026, at 19. uri.
With the exhibition depth of field, the Graz photographer Christoph Grill is again presenting himself in Maribor after almost twenty years. The exhibition marks the continuation of cooperation with Photon Gallery (Ljubljana / Maribor) and artistic exchanges with Graz (Austria), an important cultural center in the immediate vicinity of Maribor.
Christoph Grill's photographic project is the result of the author's changes of locations. In his research trips, the author cultivates the openness of the researcher and lets himself be surprised by what he finds, without specific guidelines. What can be seen in the world, he says,"is disproportionate, it is an endless project".

Vabljeni na otvoritev razstave graškega fotografa Christopha Grilla , v UGM Kabinet, ki se bo zvrstila v petek, 16. januarja 2026, ob 19. uri.
Z razstavo Globina polja se po skoraj dvajsetih letih v Mariboru ponovno predstavlja graški fotograf Christoph Grill. Razstava zaznamuje nadaljevanje sodelovanja z Galerijo Photon (Ljubljana / Maribor) in umetniške izmenjave z Gradcem (Avstrija), pomembnim kulturnim središčem v neposredni bližini Maribora.
Fotografski projekt Christopha Grilla je rezultat avtorjevih menjav lokacij. Na svojih raziskovalnih potovanjih avtor goji odprtost raziskovalca in se prepušča presenečenju nad tem, kar najde, brez posebnih smernic. Kar je mogoče videti na svetu, pravi, »je nesorazmerno, je neskončen projekt«.
