The performance of the teacher takes place in the classroom, a space of expectation and imagination in which students, through research and their own performances, try to discover and realize who the teacher is. It talks about the period when we (for the first time) enter school and face many of the questions that this new environment raises.
Who is the teacher? How do we imagine this person who will remain in our memory even when we no longer sit in the school bench? Before she enters, images and ideas about her swarm through our heads. A teacher can have many images. As long as she is not in the classroom, she can appear in different forms. It can jump off the board as a sketch, it can be assembled on a computer, it can only be with us in the form of sound. While the students are waiting for her, they imagine where she might be hiding. While waiting, they take on the role of a teacher so that they can better understand who she is at all.
The teacher is not one. There are many teachers and more. And each is different. "Over time, teachers become someone else's teachers. Maybe we meet them again, on the street, in the cinema, in the store, and they look like adults like other people. But when you meet a teacher, you understand. You know she used to be a teacher.«

Predstava Učiteljica se dogaja v učilnici, prostoru pričakovanja in domišljije, v katerem učenci skozi raziskovanje in lastne predstave poskušajo odkriti in spoznati, kdo je učiteljica. Govori o obdobju, ko (prvič) vstopimo v šolo in se srečujemo s številnimi vprašanji, ki jih odpira to novo okolje.
Kdo je učiteljica? Kako si predstavljamo to osebo, ki bo ostala v našem spominu, tudi ko ne bomo več sedeli v šolski klopi? Preden vstopi, nam po glavi rojijo podobe in predstave o njej. Učiteljica ima lahko mnogo podob. Dokler je ni v učilnici, se lahko pojavi v različnih oblikah. Lahko s table skoči kot skica, lahko se sestavi na računalu, lahko je z nami le v obliki zvoka. Medtem ko jo učenci pričakujejo, si predstavljajo, kje vse bi se lahko skrivala. Med čakanjem prevzemajo vlogo učiteljice, da bi lahko bolje razumeli, kdo sploh je.
Učiteljica ni ena sama. Učiteljic je mnogo in še več. In vsaka je drugačna. »Učiteljice čez čas postanejo učiteljice nekoga drugega. Mogoče jih še kdaj srečamo, na ulici, v kinu, v trgovini, in videti so odrasle kot drugi ljudje. Toda ko srečaš učiteljico, razumeš. Veš, da je bila nekoč učiteljica.«
