Korean word of the 울림 (oollim) is a phenomenon when the sound after being struck on the surface of his back and gently vibrates through the room. Oolim describes not only the physical resonance of sound, but also the emotional resonance that it leaves behind. The word is also used as a verb in Korean when something touches the heart. This is also the case with the creation of the trio, which, in its own words, plays music for the heart and soul, with the hope that emotions will resonate with listeners long after.
The Trio consists of:
South Korean vocalist June 6thun, who lives torn between NE 6thork and Berlin. Her artistic creation combines elements of jazz, classics, R&B, Korean traditional music and pop. She has performed at eminent jazz venues such as the Dizz Entertainment's Club at Lincoln Center, The Smalls Jazz Club, and the John Tishman Auditorium. In February, her debut album Enlightenment-Solid 6caves was presented on the show Jazz Ars All Stars on RTV Slovenia.
Slovenian vibraphonist, percussionist and composer Vid Jamnik took his first musical steps under the mentorship of the legendary vibraphonist Bosko Petrovi 6. He performs all over the world with many renowned musicians and bands. While studying at Berklee College of Music and Manhattan School of Music, he learned and performed with many talents and legendary musicians, such as Joe Locke, Joel Ross, Stefon Harris, Da Algna Stephens, Miguel Zen Aluncn, Ingrid Jensen, Shai Maestro, Jimm Alval Cobb, George Fame, Jim Rotondi, Stefan Milenkovich and many others.
Gal Golob finished his studies at the Conservatory of music and ballet in Ljubljana as a classical cellist and jazz double bass player and continued his studies at the renowned Jazz Institute Berlin. In 2022, he won the second place in the Jazzon competition, and he performed at many prestigious international festivals, such as Jazzopen Stuttgart, Druga Godba, Jazz Festival Ljubljana, Ba Amacterisches Jazz Amacteekend, festival MENT and others.
At this Tria concert, we will hear the intertwining of jazz standards, Korean Traditional Music, Folk Music, Contemporary Jazz and original compositions by June 6th.

Korejska beseda 울림 (oollim) označuje pojav, ko se zvok po udarcu ob površino odbije nazaj in nežno vibrira skozi prostor. Oolim pa ne opisuje le fizičnega odmeva zvoka, marveč tudi čustveno resonanco, ki jo le ta pušča za seboj. Besedo v korejščini uporabljajo tudi kot glagol, ko se nekaj dotakne srca. Prav takšno je tudi ustvarjanje Tria 울림, ki po lastnih besedah igra glasbo za srce in dušo, z upanjem, da bodo čustva pri poslušalcih odmevala še dolgo zatem.
Trio sestavljajo:
Južnokorejska vokalistka June Yun , ki živi razpeta med New Yorkom in Berlinom. Njeno umetniško ustvarjanje združuje elemente jazza, klasike, R&B-ja, korejske tradicionalne glasbe in popa. Nastopala je na eminentnih jazzovskih prizoriščih, kot so Dizzy’s Club v Lincoln Centru, Smalls Jazz Club in John Tishman Auditorium. Slovenski vibrafonist, tolkalec in skladatelj Vid Jamnik je prve glasbene korake naredil pod mentorstvom legendarnega vibrafonista Boška Petrovića. Nastopa po vsem svetu s številnimi priznanimi glasbeniki in zasedbami. Med študijem na Berklee College of Music in Manhattan School of Music se je učil in nastopal s številnimi talenti in legendarnimi glasbeniki, kot so Joe Locke, Joel Ross, Stefon Harris, Dayna Stephens, Miguel Zenón, Ingrid Jensen, Shai Maestro, Jimmy Cobb, George Fame, Jim Rotondi, Stefan Milenkovich in mnogi drugi.
Gal Golob je končal študij na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet v Ljubljani kot klasični violončelist in jazzovski kontrabasist ter nadaljeval študij na priznanem Jazz Institute Berlin. Leta 2022 je osvojil drugo mesto na natečaju Jazzon, nastopil pa je na številnih uglednih mednarodnih festivalih, kot so Jazzopen Stuttgart, Druga Godba, Jazz Festival Ljubljana, Bayerisches Jazzweekend, Festival MENT in drugi.
Na tokratnem koncertu Tria 울림 bomo slišali preplet jazzovskih standardov, korejske tradicionalne glasbe, ljudske glasbe, sodobnega jazza in izvirnih skladb June Yun.
