Tina Vrshchaj na klancu's novel, which, together with Cankar's novel with the same title, is scheduled for this year's essay at the Matura, raises many topics: about partnerships and family relationships and alienation, ecological issues, climate change and much more. It offers a reflection on the role of mother and father in the upbringing of children, on unprocessed relationships in the primary family, on the real and virtual world, on consumerism, which has crept into all pores of society ... the event will connect into one event a radio literary evening prepared by Nika Zadravec, which will be performed live on stage under the direction of Saxony Rakef, and a conversation between Vlad Motnikar and the author. Both by direct transfer to the ADR Program.
Tina Vrshchaj, writer, essayist, literary critic and translator, published her first book, the novel stuck in spring, in 2010, followed by the novel Odradek, then the novel on the slope, awarded in the competition of Youth books for the Blue Bird Award, and a few months ago also the novel lessons of Eva K. In addition to novels, she published a collection of short stories coat, books for children timid, timid, the loudest Tapatapata and Balabuga, and a collection of literary reviews critic on the tree.

Roman Tine Vrščaj Na klancu, ki je skupaj s Cankarjevim romanom z enakim naslovom predviden za letošnji esej na maturi, odpira številne teme: o partnerskih in družinskih odnosih ter odtujenosti, ekoloških vprašanjih, podnebnih spremembah in še marsičem. Ponuja razmislek o vlogi matere in očeta pri vzgoji otrok, o nepredelanih odnosih v primarni družini, o realnem in virtualnem svetu, potrošništvu, ki se je zalezlo v vse pore družbe … Prireditev bo v en dogodek povezala radijski literarni večer, ki ga je pripravila Nika Zadravec in ki bo pod režijskim vodstvom Saške Rakef v živo izveden na odru, ter pogovor Vlada Motnikarja z avtorico. Oboje z neposrednim prenosom na Program Ars.
Tina Vrščaj, pisateljica, esejistka, literarna kritičarka in prevajalka, je prvo knjigo, roman Zataknjena v pomladi, izdala leta 2010, sledil je roman Odradek, nato roman Na klancu, nagrajen na natečaju Mladinske knjige za nagrado modra ptica, pred nekaj meseci pa še roman Učne ure Eve K. Poleg romanov je izdala še zbirko kratkih zgodb Plašč, knjigi za otroke Plah, plašen, najplašnejši Tapatapata in Balabuga ter zbirko literarnih kritik Kritičarka na drevesu.
