The title of the exhibition of transgression, with which the novice artist Tina Mohorovi 6 is presented to us for the first time in the Bozidar Jakac Gallery, is also a name for her latest cycle of prints created earlier this year. These mark a direct transgression or continuation of her graphic cycle entitled Anonimi from 2018.
The motives of the outside world are reduced in the cycle of crossing to a few selected details and represent the transition from external spaces to internal personal space. For the crossing cycle, the artist used the same graphic plates as in the previous cycle, from which she isolated individual details and composed new compositions from them.
By strongly contrasting light and shadow, she achieved a play between the positive and negative of the print and a shift from printing in the technique of in-depth printing to high-end printing.
As in the dark cube of the theater stage, the artist illuminated only the scenes to which she wants to turn the attention of viewers and put them for reflection. The connection with theater and film is no coincidence, since the artist works as a set designer in both media. The experience of space, its formation and movement within it, is therefore one of the central themes of its creation.
The artist reached the deepest to date with her last series of drawings, combined into a cycle called Kostenje. The motifs in the drawings are views "under the skin", like an X-ray image of the affected part of the human skeleton with imaginary bones, muscles and joints, in the interweaving of which new stories unfold and new fantasy worlds open up.

Naslov razstave Prestopanja , s katero se nam novomeška umetnica Tina Mohorović prvič predstavlja v Galeriji Božidar Jakac, je obenem poimenovanje njenega najnovejšega cikla grafik, nastalih v začetku letošnjega leta. Te označujejo neposreden prestop oziroma nadaljevanje njenega grafičnega cikla z naslovom Anonimi iz leta 2018.
Motivi zunanjega sveta so v ciklu Prestopanja zreducirani na nekaj izbranih detajlov in predstavljajo prehod iz zunanjih prostorov v notranji osebni prostor. Umetnica je za cikel Prestopanja uporabila iste grafične plošče kot v predhodnem ciklu, iz katerih je izolirala posamične detajle in iz njih sestavila nove kompozicije.
Z močnim kontrastriranjem svetlobe in sence je dosegla preigravanje med pozitivom in negativom odtisa ter prestopanje iz odtisovanja v tehniki globokega tiska k visokemu tisku.
Kot v temnem kubusu gledališkega odra je umetnica osvetlila zgolj prizore, na katere želi obrniti pozornost gledalcev in jim jih postaviti v razmislek. Povezava z gledališčem in filmom ni naključje, saj umetnica deluje kot scenografinja v obeh medijih. Izkušnja prostora, njegovo oblikovanje in gibanje znotraj njega, je zato ena od osrednjih tem njenega ustvarjanja.
Najgloblje do sedaj je umetnica segla s svojo zadnjo serijo risb, združenih v cikel z naslovom Kostenje. Motivi na risbah so pogledi »pod kožo«, kot rentgenska slika prizadetega dela človeškega skeleta z imaginarnimi kostmi, mišicami in sklepi, v prepletu katerih se odvijajo nove zgodbe in odpirajo novi fantazijski svetovi.
Razstava je nastala v sodelovanju Galerije Božidar Jakac in Galerije Velenje.
