A raw mix of proto-metal, stoner rock and unbridled psychedelia will be 29. gala halo blew up in July-with a band that has remained faithful to explosive, instrumentally perfect rock and roll without compromise for a quarter of a century.
Formed in 1992, but active with the release of their first record only in 1999, the Atomic bitch of The Musical is formed by bassist and vocalist Chris Kosnik, guitarist Garrett of The Musical and drummer Bob Pantella, who rounds out the well-coordinated and relentless machine. All three are also members of the legendary band Monster Magnet . They have released ten albums in nearly three decades, the most recent being released in 2020,"Scorpio".
Their sound combines the intensity of Motamacrhead, the technical precision of Rush and the psychedelic boldness of the early Haamack Amacind , but it remains theirs all the time – recognizable by its lava-riffs, punctuated by hypnotic solos and rhythmic turns.
The concert at the Gala Hall will be a great opportunity for the home audience to experience a band that does not give up for a second live. They perform without manners, without ballast and without a distorted view of rock and roll – honestly, out loud and without apologies.

Legendarni trio iz New Jerseyja, The Atomic Bitchwax , prihaja v Ljubljano. Surova mešanica proto-metala, stoner rocka in nebrzdane psihedelije bo 29. julija raznesla Gala halo – z bendom, ki že četrt stoletja ostaja zvest eksplozivnemu, inštrumentalno dovršenemu rokenrolu brez kompromisov.
Ustanovljeni leta 1992, a aktivni z izdajo prve plošče šele leta 1999, The Atomic Bitchwax tvorijo basist in vokalist Chris Kosnik, kitarist Garrett Sweeny ter bobnar Bob Pantella, ki zaokroža uigrano in neusmiljeno mašinerijo. Vsi trije so tudi člani legendarne zasedbe Monster Magnet . V skoraj treh desetletjih so izdali deset albumov, zadnji je bil izdan leta 2020, »Scorpio«.
Njihov zvok združuje intenziteto Motörhead , tehnično preciznost Rush in psihedelično drznost zgodnjih Hawkwind , a ves čas ostaja njihov – prepoznaven po riffih, ki se valijo kot lava, in prekinjajo s hipnotičnimi solažami ter ritmičnimi obrati.
