Tourist and Cultural Association Shavrinka, Skala Kubed Association, Local Community Grachisce, Institute for youth, culture and tourism Koper and Mountaineering Association Koper joined forces. Saturday, 10. in May, they invite Alojz Kocjancic to the second literary hike together. The march will be followed by a cultural programme honoring the heritage of the first Slovenian Istrian poet and preserving the memory of his rich creative oeuvre. The event is organized as part of the weekends on the edge events.
"The story of the poet and priest Alojz Kocjancic is a story about language, landscape and people who have shaped Istrian identity over the centuries. The idea of the literary path of Alojz Kocjancic is not new, but lately, unfortunately, it has been somewhat quiet. At TKD Shavrinka we want to revive this route and enter it on the map of cultural routes of Slovenia. With great pleasure, they also joined the project in Skala Kubed, where we conceived the event together, which will take place on the 10th. may. With such events, we not only preserve the cultural heritage, but also actively embed it in modern times. We believe that it is precisely such collaborations between associations, locals and creators that can create a space for experiential cultural experiences that connect people and places," said Dusan Arko, president of the TKD Shavrinka association.

The literary path of Alojz Kocjancic is an opportunity to remember the poet, but also to revive the community and space. I believe that it is precisely in the connection – between places, societies and generations – that lies the strength of the future of our cultural heritage. Our common goal is to make the literary path part of the recognizable network of cultural paths of Slovenia, while remaining firmly entrenched in the hearts of the locals.«
Istran sing you a song new over! (A. Kocjancic)
The event will start at 12. Holy Mass in the Parish Church of St. George. Florijana in Kubed, where we will pay tribute to the poet and priest Alojz Kocjancic with silence and thought. At 13. the hour will be followed by a guided tour of his memorial room and ethnological collection, which reveals the everyday life of the Istrian past through objects and stories. After the tour we will be at 14. uri went on a hike along the Kocjancic Trail, which will lead us through the picturesque Istrian landscape. The day will be at 17. uri continued with a rich cultural program in which the poet's words will come to life again in music, narrative and Fine Arts.
The way of Alojz Kocjancic:
Hikers will gather in front of the Church of sv. Florijana in Kubed, from where the organized ascent to the viewpoint of The Hungry will follow . The guides will be representatives of the coastal Mountaineering Association. The path leads through the picturesque Istrian landscape and offers beautiful views of the surrounding villages and the hilly world. From the top of the hungry, hikers will descend towards Grachisce, where the hike will continue through the village and after a short part of the way back to Kubed .
The end of the hike will be in front of the Hall in Kubed , where a feast will be prepared for all participants with a typical Istrian dish – bobici and non-alcoholic drinks . From rising in the bosom of Istria to verse and written word
At 17. at the central cultural event, which will be held in memory of Alojz Kocjancic, uri will present a comic from his life - the flapping of a rock in the Hall in Kubed . The comic, published at the Vilhar Koper Central Library, is a continuation of the picture book from the bosom of Istria to the bosom of the word . The author of the picture book and comic book is Ines Cergol , researcher, poet and publicist, long-time collaborator of Gymnasium Koper, which is dedicated to Istrian literary and cultural heritage. In his work, he often intertwines the scientific, literary and emotional confessional levels. She was joined by Matej Kocjan-KOCO, an art educator, established comic book artist and illustrator, known for his original artistic language and ability to visually narrate complex content. Together they created a work that brings the life and meaning of Alojz Kocjancic closer to both younger and adult readers in a popular and accessible way, while continuing the efforts to preserve and revive the rich Istrian heritage.
The cultural programme will be enriched by the resident of the Alojz Kocjancic room Katja Shulc, who composed one of Kocjancic's songs and a theatre point in the Istrian dialect performed by local women from Kubed.

Turistično in kulturno društvo Šavrinka, društvo Skala Kubed, Krajevna skupnost Gračišče, Zavod za mladino, kulturo in turizem Koper in Planinsko društvo Koper so združili moči. V soboto, 10. maja skupaj vabijo na drugi literarni pohod Alojza Kocjančiča. Pohodu bo sledil kulturni program, s katerim bodo počastili dediščino prvega slovenskega istrskega pesnika in ohranili spomin na njegov bogat ustvarjalni opus. Dogodek je organiziran v sklopu prireditev Vikendi na robu.
»Zgodba pesnika in duhovnika Alojza Kocjančiča je zgodba o jeziku, pokrajini in ljudeh, ki so skozi stoletja oblikovali istrsko identiteto. Ideja o literarni poti Alojza Kocjančiča ni nova, a v zadnjem času je, žal, nekoliko potihnila. V TKD Šavrinka si želimo to pot obuditi in jo vpisati na zemljevid kulturnih poti Slovenije. Z velikim veseljem so se projektu pridružili tudi v Skali Kubed , kjer smo skupaj zasnovali prireditev, ki bo potekala 10. maja. S takšnimi dogodki ne le ohranjamo kulturno dediščino, ampak jo tudi aktivno vpenjamo v sodobni čas. Verjamemo, da lahko prav tovrstna sodelovanja med društvi, domačini in ustvarjalci ustvarjajo prostor za doživljajske kulturne izkušnje, ki povezujejo ljudi in kraje,« je povedal Dušan Arko, predsednik društva TKD Šavrinka.
Z njim se je strinjala tudi predsednica Skale Kubed Mateja Jovičić, ki nam je zaupala: »Kubed ima močne korenine in bogato zgodbo, ki jo želimo deliti – ne le z obiskovalci, temveč predvsem z mladimi generacijami. Literarna pot Alojza Kocjančiča je priložnost, da se spomnimo pesnika, a tudi, da oživimo skupnost in prostor. Verjamem, da prav v povezovanju – med kraji, društvi in generacijami – tiči moč prihodnosti naše kulturne dediščine. Naš skupni cilj je, da literarna pot postane del prepoznavne mreže kulturnih poti Slovenije, hkrati pa ostane trdno zasidrana v srcih domačinov.«
Istran zapoj si pesem novih nad! (A. Kocjančič)
Dogajanje se bo pričelo ob 12. uri s sveto mašo v župnijski cerkvi sv. Florijana v Kubedu, kjer se bomo s tišino in mislijo poklonili pesniku in duhovniku Alojzu Kocjančiču. Ob 13. uri bo sledil voden ogled njegove spominske sobe ter etnološke zbirke, ki skozi predmete in zgodbe odstira vsakdanjik istrske preteklosti. Po ogledu se bomo ob 14. uri podali na pohod po Kocjančičevi poti, ki nas bo vodila skozi slikovito istrsko pokrajino. Dan se bo ob 17. uri nadaljeval z bogatim kulturnim programom, v katerem bodo pesnikove besede znova zaživele v glasbi, pripovedi in likovni umetnosti.
Po poti Alojza Kocjančiča:
Pohodniki se bodo zbrali pred cerkvijo sv. Florijana v Kubedu , od koder bo sledil organiziran vzpon na razgledno točko Lačna . Vodniki bodo predstavniki Obalnega planinskega društva. Pot vodi skozi slikovito istrsko pokrajino in ponuja čudovite razglede na okoliške vasi in gričevnat svet. Z vrha Lačne se bodo pohodniki spustili proti Gračišču , kjer se bo pohod nadaljeval skozi vas in po krajšem delu poti nazaj do Kubeda .
Zaključek pohoda bo pred dvorano v Kubedu , kjer bo za vse udeležence pripravljena pogostitev z značilno istrsko jedjo – bobiči in brezalkoholnimi napitki . Pohod je primeren za vse generacije. Od vzpona v naročju Istre k verzu in pisani besedi
Ob 17. uri bodo v dvorani v Kubedu na osrednji kulturni prireditvi, ki bo potekala v spomin Alojzu Kocjančiču predstavili strip iz njegovega življenja - Plapolanje skale . Strip, ki je izšel pri Osrednji knjižnici Srečka Vilharja Koper, je nadaljevanje slikanice Iz naročja Istre v naročje besede . Avtorica slikanice in stripa je Ines Cergol , raziskovalka, pesnica in publicistka, dolgoletna sodelavka Gimnazije Koper, ki se posveča istrski literarni in kulturni dediščini. V svojem delu pogosto prepleta znanstveno, literarno in čustveno izpovedno raven. Pri stripovski izdaji se ji je pridružil Matej Kocjan – Koco , likovni pedagog, uveljavljen stripar in ilustrator, znan po svojem izvirnem likovnem jeziku in sposobnosti vizualnega pripovedovanja kompleksnih vsebin. Skupaj sta ustvarila delo, ki na poljuden in dostopen način približa življenje in pomen Alojza Kocjančiča tako mlajšim kot odraslim bralcem, hkrati pa nadaljuje prizadevanja za ohranjanje in oživljanje bogate istrske dediščine.
Kulturni program bosta obogatili rezidentka sobe Alojza Kocjančiča Katja Šulc, ki je eno od Kocjančičevih pesmi uglasbila in gledališka točka v istrskem narečju v izvedbi domačink iz Kubeda.
