The thematic leadership will focus on the operation of the Ljubljana School of graphic arts and the Biennial of Graphic Arts, with a special pooudark on the artist Adriana Maraz (1931-2015), an important representative of Slovenian graphic arts of the second half of the 20th century. century. Her work will be presented, the development of graphic techniques, especially in-depth printing, and her contribution to the development of graphics in Slovenia. Special attention will be paid to her unique visual language, symbols and body motifs and existential themes, as well as artistic dialogue with Janez Bernik , her husband and the Central representative of Slovenian Informel.

On the occasion of International Women's day, the thematic leadership will be dedicated to women artists represented in the permanent collection of the Moderna Galerija. Various artistic practices will be presented, including graphics, painting, sculpture, conceptual art, as well as selected oeuvres of individual artists. The management will also discuss the question of the visibility of women artists in art-historical narratives, their placement in the canon and the Shisha of the relationship of power, identity and authorship.

The thematic guidance on the first Sunday in April will be given to the painter Gabrijel Stupica (1913-1990), one of the key representatives of Slovenian modernism. A review of his stylistically diverse oeuvre will reveal the development of his pictorial language, iconography and the relationship between figure, space and object. The management will focus on the qualities and specifics that place Stupici opus in the very top of Slovenian art.

Tematsko vodstvo bo osredotočeno na delovanje Ljubljanske grafične šole in Grafičnega bienala, s posebnim pooudarkom na umetnici Adriani Maraž (1931-2015), pomembni predstavnici slovenske grafike druge polovice 20. stoletja. Predstavljen bo njen opus, razvoj grafičnih tehnik, zlasti globokega tiska, ter prispevek k razvoju grafike na Slovenskem. Posebna pozornost bo namenjena njenemu samosvojemu vizualnemu jeziku, simbolim in telesnim motivom ter eksistencialnim temam, pa tudi na umetniškem dialogu z Janezom Bernikom , njenim možem in osrednjim predstavnikom slovenskega informela.

Ob mednarodnem dnevu žensk bo tematsko vodstvo posvečeno umetnicam, zastopanim v stalni zbirki Moderne galerije. Predstavljene bodo raznolike umetniške prakse, vključno z grafiko, slikarstvom, kiparstvom, konceptualno umetnostjo, ter izbrani opusi posameznih umetnic. Vodstvo bo obravnavalo tudi vprašanje vidnosti umetnic v umetnostnozgodovinskih narativih, njihove umeščenosti v kanon ter šišra razmerja moči, identitete in avtorstva.

Tematsko vodstvo na prvo nedeljo v aprilu bo namenjeno slikarju Gabrijelu Stupici (1913–1990), enemu ključnih predstavnikov slovenskega modernizma. Pregled njegovega slogovno raznolikega opusa bo razkril razvoj njegovega slikarskega jezika, ikonografije ter razmerja med figuro, prostorom in predmetom. Vodstvo se bo osredotočilo na kvalitete in specifike, ki umeščajo Stupiči opus v sam vrh slovenske umetnosti.
