On Friday, 16. 1. 2026, at 18.30, we invite you to the Hall of the Ajdovshchina people's University for a musical and literary evening on the occasion of the publication of the book grains of madness by Peter Krkoc .
The former lead singer of Ajdovska rock band Skalp is returning to Ajdovska after two years-but not with a microphone, but with a pen. Under the auspices of the Lavrich library, he will be visiting the Hall of the Ajdovshchina people's University on Friday, 16. Jan.
Peter Krkoc published the novel grains of madness, which attracts the attention of cultural circles. The premiere literary and musical evening in Bohinj filled the Hall of the center of the Triglav National Park, and now the story returns to where it began – to Ajdovshchina.
The novel grains of madness has no presentation in the classical sense. Krkoc conceived two unique performances, where a piece of the story comes to life through narrative and live music. You could say that this is a concert performance that happily combines literature with the stage and pleasant melodies.
Each of the two evenings is content-adapted to the environment, including a moderator. Slovenian actress Lucija Grm connected the event in Bohinj, and Bojan Bizjak will be the host of the evening in Ajdovska.
The evening will also feature Jana Benchina and Ursula Krkoc with vocals, Lev Krkoc on classical and bass guitar and the author of the novel on piano and guitar. The peculiarity of the buckwheat evening will also be that the passages of the novel will be interpreted by the author himself.
The event will be held in the Organization of Lavrich's library.

V petek, 16. 1. 2026, ob 18.30 , vas vabimo v dvorano Ljudske univerze Ajdovščina na glasbeno-literarni večer ob izidu knjige Zrna norosti Petra Krkoča .
Nekdanji pevec ajdovske rock zasedbe Skalp se po dveh letih vrača v Ajdovščino – a ne z mikrofonom, temveč s peresom. Pod okriljem Lavričeve knjižnice bo gostoval v dvorani Ljudske univerze Ajdovščina v petek, 16. januarja.
Peter Krkoč je izdal roman Zrna norosti, ki priteguje pozornost kulturnih krogov. Premierni literarno-glasbeni večer v Bohinju je napolnil dvorano Centra Triglavskega narodnega parka, zdaj pa se zgodba vrača tja, kjer se je začela – v Ajdovščino.
Roman Zrna norosti nima predstavitve v klasičnem smislu. Krkoč si je zamislil dve unikatni predstavi, kjer delček zgodbe zaživi skozi pripoved in živo glasbo. Lahko bi rekli, da gre za koncertno predstavo, ki literaturo posrečeno združi z odrom in prijetnimi melodijami.
Vsak od dveh večerov je vsebinsko prilagojen okolju, vključno z moderatorjem. V Bohinju je dogodek povezovala slovenska igralka Lucija Grm, v Ajdovščini pa bo voditelj večera Bojan Bizjak.
V okviru večera bodo nastopili še Jana Benčina in Uršula Krkoč z vokalom, Lev Krkoč na klasični in bas kitari ter avtor romana na klavirju in kitari. Posebnost ajdovskega večera bo tudi v tem, da bo odlomke romana interpretiral avtor sam.
Dogodek bo potekal v organizaciji Lavričeve knjižnice.
