We invite you to us on Tuesday, 13. in January, join in the fourth meeting under the program for older contemporary art first hand . We will visit the exhibition weaving worlds: collections in dialogue , which presents works from the collection of the Skopje Museum of Contemporary Art in dialogue with works from the arteast 2000+collection.
The exhibition presents works by 87 authors from almost all former Yugoslav republics, Brazil, Poland, Bolivia, Sudan, Uruguay, Albania, Japan, South Africa, Iran, Cuba, Spain and Romania. With them, the exhibition opens a space for reflection on nature, art and our relationship with each other. The presented ceramics, naive art, contemporary works and natural materials enable reflection on the role of nature in artistic creation and our relationship to the concept and experience of nature.
Join the art historian Kaja Rozman and the restorers-conservators of the Modern gallery Ana Sterle and mag. Simoni Skorja in getting to know natural materials, technological processes and the potential of art in reflecting on the ecological reality of our time. Together we will look at examples of ceramics, tapestries, paintings and sculptures, as well as some modern techniques and technologies.
After the guided tour, which will last about an hour, we invite you to the bookstore, where we will hang out over a cup of tea and snacks.

Ogledali si bomo razstavo Tkanje svetov: zbirke v dialogu , ki predstavlja dela iz zbirke Muzeja sodobne umetnosti Skopje v dialogu z deli iz zbirke Arteast 2000+.
Razstava predstavlja dela 87 avtorjev iz skoraj vseh nekdanjih jugoslovanskih republik, Brazilije, Poljske, Bolivije, Sudana, Urugvaja, Albanije, Japonske, Južne Afrike, Irana, Kube, Španije in Romunije. Z njimi razstava odpira prostor za razmislek o naravi, umetnosti in našem medsebojnem odnosu. Predstavljena keramika, naivna umetnost, sodobna dela in naravni materiali omogočajo razmislek o vlogi narave v umetnostnem ustvarjanju ter našem odnosu do koncepta in doživetja narave.
Pridružite se umetnostni zgodovinarki Kaji Rožman ter restavratorkama-konservatorkama Moderne galerije Ani Sterle in mag.
