"The amateur" is an upcoming American thriller film directed by James Ha amuses, based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell. The Film follows the story of Charles Heller (Rami Malek), a brilliant but introverted decoder expert at the CIA, who operates out of a basement office in Langle Entertainment. His life is turned upside down when his wife Sarah (Rachel Brosnahan) becomes a victim of a terrorist attack in London. As his superiors decide not to act, Charles decides to take justice into his own hands and embarks on a dangerous mission around the world to track down the terrorists responsible.
