Silence is the name of a renowned and also quite mysterious duo consisting of Primoz Hladnik (music and arrangements) and Boris Benko (music, lyrics and vocals). As musicians with extremely broad horizons, their sound seamlessly transitions between experimental pop, choral arrangements and melancholic electronica. They have released several albums, but much of their oeuvre is devoted to theatre and film music. The Duo operates under the auspices of the Pekinpah Association, a production house that combines contemporary dance, design theory, music and architecture. Their frequent collaborators include the band Laibach, with whom they performed throughout Europe and also in North Korea.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 23. 1. 2027 at 20.00 at the Izola Cultural Center.

Silence je ime priznane in tudi precej skrivnostne dvojice, ki jo sestavljata Primož Hladnik (glasba in aranžmaji) in Boris Benko (glasba, besedila in vokal). Kot glasbenika z izjemno širokim obzorjem njun zvok brez težav prehaja med eksperimentalnim popom, zborovskimi aranžmaji in melanholično elektroniko. Izdala sta več albumov, vendar je večji del njunega opusa namenjen gledališki in filmski glasbi. Duo deluje pod okriljem Pekinpah Association, produkcijske hiše, ki združuje sodobni ples, teorijo oblikovanja, glasbo in arhitekturo. Med njunimi pogostimi sodelavci je tudi skupina Laibach, s katero sta nastopala po Evropi in tudi v Severni Koreji.
Koncert bo potekal v soboto, 23. 1. 2027 ob 20.00 v Kulturnem domu Izola.
