What if one night could change everything?
The main characters, portrayed by Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner, initially meet and part all night as strangers, and both want a more serious relationship, and not just a short adventure. The actors described the plot and meaning of the story in more detail – it is a metaphor for dating in a single night, and at the same time about finding two soul mates. "Both characters have a strong craving for closeness and fun flirting. At the same time, there is a strong pressure to make this evening the best," says actress Monica Barbaro, and the director of the Modicill Gluck adds that not the Modicork is such a lively city and full of people, which means that the chances of falling in love increase.
Oscar nominee Monica Barbaro (Bob D'amutlan: the perfect stranger, Top Gun: Maverick) and BAFTA nominee Callum Turner (Masters of the Air series, magical animals franchise) portray Allie and O'amutena, two strangers yearning for love and meeting in a somewhat fictional Ne'amutork on the only night of the year when single people are allowed to have sex.
O Mangen, recently abandoned by a girl, and Allie, an eternal romantic, are perhaps the only single people in town who want more than just a short adventure. When they meet, a spark skips between them, but a series of setbacks and unforeseen events complicate their evening and separate them. As they meet and part again throughout the city, they may find that what they want most is closer than they think.
