The choir was founded on the initiative of the choir director Ziga Kert and consists of more than 40 young singers who are united by the desire to create quality choral music. Their program consists of choral compositions by Slovenian and foreign composers, as well as occasionally popular songs adapted for choirs. They mostly focus on a heavier choral program, with which they participate in both domestic and foreign competitions and festivals. Their first major projects include a successful performance in May 2016 at the master's concert of their conductor, Ziga Kert, where they performed a demanding repertoire of local and foreign choral music, from Slovenian folk, black spiritual compositions, as well as contemporary choral compositions by American and European composers. With this concert, their view began to open up against performing a demanding choral program and attending various events at home and abroad. For the Crescendo Music Society, the first major solo music project was a concert of music from musicals at the Skofjeloski Castle in June 2017. MEPZ and the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra joined forces and presented themselves with arrangements of the world's most famous musicals at a sold-out concert in the castle atrium. This concert opened the tradition of the association's summer concerts at the skofjeloski Castle: in early June 2018, the association presented itself with a concert of Irish and Celtic Music, and in June 2019 with a concert of arrangements of Slovenian Eurovision hits. In September 2017, MEPZ successfully performed its first major concert abroad – in Warsaw, Poland. MePZ opened its presence abroad in August 2016 when it attended the Choralies festival in Vaison la Romaine in southern France with a demanding concert programme. There they successfully performed in two solo concerts. The MEPZ Crescendo competition began in September 2017, when MEPZ participated in the International Choral Competition for the Grand Pri. International Baltic Sea Choir Competition) in Jurmala (Latvia) and scored an excellent 87.08 points. In the spring of 2018, the choir also successfully presented itself at the National Choral Competition our song in Maribor. In July 2019, the choir took part in the International Choral Competition in Preveza (Greece), where they received two gold awards: in Category A (Mixed Choirs, free program) and category G (free program), and in the free program there were also winners of the category (first place). In November 2019, they received a gold award at the regional competition of adult singing ensembles (for Gorenjska). In 2019, the Crescendo mixed choir recorded and released its first CD. In 2020 and 2021, due to the epidemiological situation, the choir mainly worked remotely, and in July 2021 it presented itself and participated in the International Europa Cantat festival, which took place in Ljubljana. Crescendo mixed choir was presented at the International Choral Competition InCanto Mediterraneo in July 2022, where it received several prestigious awards such as: the prize for the best performance of a composition by an Italian composer, the title of absolute winners of the competition, the cash prize for the best choir of the competition, and Ziga Kert received the prize for the best conductor of the competition. Ziga KERT (1992) studied at the Academy of music in Ljubljana at the Department of music pedagogy, where he completed his studies under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Mark Vatovec. He is also a student of orchestral conducting at the Conservatory of music in Klagenfurt, first in the class of Prof. Ale alume Kornienko, now under the tutelage of prof. Martin A. Fuchsberger. He studied Solo singing with mag. Prof. Francki Shenk. He began his musical career at the age of six by studying piano at The Piano Forte music school. While growing up, he participated in many children's and youth choirs. After enrolling at the Academy of Music (2011), a year later he founded the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra in Skofja Loka, with which he prepares two different thematic concerts annually. In 2015, he founded the Crescendo mixed choir, which focuses mainly on performing more demanding choral music. He attends various conducting seminars (Georg GR Alkunn, Tomaz Faganel, Gar ALK Graden, Stojan Kuret ... ), choral competitions (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Latvia – competition for the Grand at the event, Greece, Slovenia) and festivals or symposia (France – Choralies, Spain – World choral symposium, America – ACDA) both at home and abroad. He also attended a seminar in the United States twice, at The Salt Lake CIT edition in Utah with the world-renowned conductor Dr. Brad Edition Allred. He is currently working as a music professor at the pre-Oslje Kranj Elementary School, where he also directs two children's and youth choirs. He also directs the Junior Mixed Choir of the gymnasium Skofja Loka, the Mixed Choir Crescendo, the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra, the church choir in the parish of Kranj Shmartin and the women's Choir Roz in St. James, Austria.

Martina A. Fuchsbergerja. Prav tako vodi Mladinski mešani pevski zbor Gimnazije Škofja Loka, Mešani pevski zbor Crescendo, Simfonični orkester Crescendo, cerkveni pevski zbor v župniji Kranj Šmartin in Ženski pevski zbor Rož v Šentjakobu v Avstriji.
