Reflection on transience and vulnerability
With a project dedicated to the chants and traditions of Lent, the decor Chamber Choir is once again left to the baton of the all-round talented Aca Alexander BIS FIS Fakulevi Fakul. Together they explore the days of penance and self-reflection marked by the time between Ash Wednesday and Easter, teaching the individual humility and leading to rebirth. They encourage fasting-also from judgments, envy, worry, words that hurt, grief and anxiety.
Messages of transience, fragility and penance are carried by selected compositions of local masters of liturgical music, such as Mav, Sattner, Tomc, Hribar, Jobst and others, and the program is crowned by the performance of Miserere mei (have mercy on me) by the francoflam Renaissance composer Orlando di Lasso and by the striking motet Crucifi Funcus (crucified) by the Italian Baroque composer Antonio Lotti.
Let the melodies, disregarding our beliefs, serve as inspiration for rethinking faith in good and striving for peace, which will always prevail over sinister pride, discord and disharmony and lead to a brighter tomorrow.
Chamber Choir decor (2015), winner of the National Choral Competition Our Song 2018 in Maribor, has already focused on high-quality performance, program innovation, maturity and diversity. The fundamental vision of the choir is a weighty, content-rounded programme with numerous first performances on Slovenian stages. The band brings together experienced choir singers from all over Slovenia, who in the past have been trained in renowned national and foreign compositions. Great choral enthusiasts collaborate with established guest conductors on a project basis, in order to maintain a broad view of the extensive choral literature and to perform music of different expressions and stylistic periods.
Since its inception, the choir has presented numerous solo projects and other musical collaborations. The opening concert at the Foundation, titled In the beginning after the famous Copland in the Beginning and under the direction of the Finnish conductor Dani Juris, was followed by the resounding Bach P / C / C Motets – Baroque motets and contemporary sound miniatures of Arva P / C / C with conductor Sebastjan Vrhovnik and instrumentalists Domn Marincic, Tomaz Sevsko and Tiln Bajc. The team also tried out for the first time on the competition stage (Spittal, 3. city and recognition for the best performance of a mandatory Renaissance composition) and as a demonstration choir at 1. The Matej hubad national competition for Slovenian choirs The Sound of my hands.
In 2017, he impressed with a little – known programme of Italian Renaissance and contemporary works ITALIANTICA-a musical mirror of the word between Renaissance and modernity, designed by Petra Grassi, and in the autumn of the same year he joined the orchestra and choir of the Slovenian Philharmonic, clarinetist Matet Bekavec and ACU tenor Aleksandr BIS / BIS / in the baptismal performance of the Dreams of a Sleeping in the gallus Hall of Cankarjev Dom the dream of the Sleeping World by American composer Chad Cannon. Under bekavec's artistic direction, with an international cast of instrumentalists (Jako Stadler, Bozena Angelova, Geo Pantner and soloists of Kronberg Academy from Germany) and conductor Petra Grassi, they then performed in Slovenia and Serbia with the program The fruit of silence – the fruit of silence. In parallel, preparations were made for the 25th. Slovenian Choral Competition our song, in which decor won the absolute first place and the award for the best mixed choir, and Petra Grassi won the award for the best conductor of the competition.
In the spring of 2019, the singers, in collaboration with Finnish conductor Dani Juris again, gave concerts with the spring dream program, presenting works by Finnish and German composers. In December, they are for the ARS – 3 program. Radio Slovenia's programme under the direction of Petra Grassi prepared a Euro Radio Christmas concert of the Paradise string, which was broadcast by the European Association of radio stations (EBU) on Euro Radio Christmas Day, a day of Christmas concerts organized by Radio houses from all over the world.
In its first year of operation, the assembly, under the leadership of the Aca By Bišćevića prepared by the project to LOOK forward to all the nations of the earth, and it set a selected part of the renowned German and French composers of the Mendelssohna, Poulenca, Villetta, Déodata de Séveraca and Durufléja. Concert of German Protestant music 19. century and French Catholic music 19. and 20. for centuries, he has captured the choral literature of Mighty two-choruses, which are rarely performed in amateur choirs in our country. Under the artistic hand of Sebastjan Vrhovnik, the decor in 2022 with the PACEM program! Songs for peace responded to the shocking events in the world. A wide selection of alluring compositions from the German Baroque to the novelties of contemporary composers linked the values of peace, homeland, freedom and integration into the community, and from the works sculpted desire, request, prayer for peace and connected cooperation and creation.
In the spring of 2023, the decor chamber choir, together with the internationally renowned conductor Petra Grassi, conceived a program focused on juxtaposing and revealing two musical worlds: sacred Russian and English choral music 20. century. The selected zborovska the work of composers such as Kedrov, Golovanov, Sviridov, and Parry, Howells, Williams, and Britten, with a lot of faith emerged in the turbulent times of world wars, revolutions, and their consequences, assembly, and for the listeners out in time, and once again, we feel the tension between the East and the West – with the wish that we would have the music, the sound and the message of the wealth of the two traditions even in such a diverse, objelo and slowed our uncertainty about the heart.
The last cycle of concerts was prepared by the chamber choir decor in collaboration with the conductor Kristina Bogataj, who won second place at the second Matej hubad national competition for Slovenian choirs sound of my hands in Maribor. The conductor of the younger generation, who has been living and creating in Finland for many years, chose the multifaceted coexistence and integration of concepts that unite the Slovenian and Finnish peoples – respect for nature, the passage of the seasons, inextricably linked with the joy of life and facing the passing, as well as migration-as the idea for the concert program entitled De vita n animtterna/White Nights.
Chamber Choir decor is made during the preparation for the Celebration 10. he once again leaves the anniversaries to the baton of the all-talented Aca Alexander BIS FIS Fakulevi Fakul with a project dedicated to chants and traditions of Lent. Razmislek o minljivosti in ranljivosti
Otvoritvenemu koncertu ob ustanovitvi, naslovljenemu V začetku po znameniti Coplandovi In the Beginning in pod vodstvom finskega dirigenta Danija Jurisa, so sledile odmevne BACHove PÄRTiture – Baročni moteti in sodobne zvočne miniature Arva Pärta z dirigentom Sebastjanom Vrhovnikom ter instrumentalisti Domnom Marinčičem, Tomažem Sevškom in Tilnom Bajcem.
The Dreams of a Sleeping World (Sanje spečega sveta) ameriškega skladatelja Chada Cannona. Pod Bekavčevim umetniškim vodstvom, z mednarodno zasedbo instrumentalistov (Jako Stadlerjem, Boženo Angelovo, Geo Pantner in solisti Akademije Kronberg iz Nemčije) ter dirigentko Petro Grassi so nato nastopali v Sloveniji in Srbiji s programom The fruit of silence – Plod tišine.
Spomladi 2019 so pevci v ponovnem sodelovanju s finskim dirigentom Danijem Jurisom koncertirali s programom POMLADne sanJE, s katerim so predstavljali dela finskih in nemških skladateljev. Decembra so za program ARS – 3. program Radia Slovenija pod vodstvom Petre Grassi pripravili Evroradijski božični koncert RAJSKE STRUNE, ki ga je prenašala Evropska zveza radijskih postaj (EBU) na Evroradijski božični dan, dan božičnih koncertov v organizaciji radijskih hiš z vsega sveta.
V svojem petem letu delovanja je zbor pod vodstvom Aca Aleksandra Bišćevića pripravil projekt VESELITE SE vsi narodi zemlje, koncertni sklop izbranih del slovitih nemških in francoskih skladateljev Mendelssohna, Poulenca, Villetta, Déodata de Séveraca in Durufléja.
