This February concert will take us into the field of sacred jazz and black spiritual music. In the performance of the Chamber Choir m Alucterium from Kranj, under the direction of conductor Lovro Frelih, we will listen to the work a little Jazz Mass by the English composer Bob Chilcott and to the music of African peoples who, as slaves on American soil, preserved and developed songs known as Negro spiritual songs or spirituals . The choir will be complemented with instrumental accompaniment by pianist Sven Pungartnik Rauter and percussionist Aenej Nik Juran . The concert will take place on Wednesday, 15. February 2023 at 19: 30. uri in the Ursuline Church of Sv. Trinity in Ljubljana. There is no entrance fee, but we will be glad to volunteer contributions. Kindly invited! In addition to regular activities, the singers with choir director and conductor Lovro Frelih, who has been leading the choir since 2017, are undertaking various projects. The association organizes educational workshops and already traditional summer vocal music workshops for singing lovers. The choir is happy to attend charity concerts and establish contacts with other choirs in Slovenia and abroad. Although it is an amateur choir, it is regularly educated through participation in choral workshops under the guidance of renowned Slovenian and foreign choirs. He performs vocal and vocal-instrumental music of all choral styles and eras. The choir regularly successfully participates in festivals and choral competitions, as well as charity events. He connects with various vocal and instrumental ensembles and young Slovenian composers. Last year, the choir responded to the invitation of the foundation Sveti Petar Cetinjski from Podgorica and went on a tour in Montenegro, where they presented themselves with a sacred program, but they did not forget about Slovenian folk music. Cultural cooperation with Montenegro was created on the initiative of the Montenegrin cultural education and Sports Association Morac from Kranj and the Association of cultural associations Kranj. The project was highly acclaimed both at home and in Montenegro. In the fall, they took part in the regional thematic concert of consonance at the Sokolsky home in Skofja Loka and received the second prize. For 2023, they are preparing some full-length concerts of sacred music. They have established contacts with several Slovenian choirs; together with them they will prepare 3 full-length concerts entitled'Let yourself be heard'. In the autumn, concerts of Slovenian evergreen music are being prepared, and they will also take part in the regional Choir Competition and the international choir competition in Tuhelj. LOVRO FRELIH (1988) is a choir director, jazz pianist and pedagogue. After graduating from the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana, majoring in jazz piano, he is trained in conducting by local and foreign mentors (Borut Smrekar, Tomaz Faganel, Uros Lajovic, Steffen Schre Amuter, Georg GR Alucn, Gar lighting Graden, Sigvarts Klava, Adrian van der Spoel, Frieder Bernius, Krastin nastev, Sergei Pavlov, Ragnar Rasmussen and Ursa Lah). He led several choirs and received awards at home and abroad (APZ Alojzij Mav, Domzal chamber choir, chamber male choir Celje, Chamber Choir Ipavska, UPZ Emil Adamic and female choir Petrol). He is currently leading the Chamber Choir m Animtsterium Kranj. He is a two-time participant of the National Choral Competition sound of my hands (2016 and 2022), where in 2022 he received special recognition from the jury for communication with the choir as a semi-finalist. As a musician, SVEN PUNGARTNIK RAUTER works primarily as a composer and pianist. In September 2021 , he staged his first author's musical brand new world, for which he wrote music, text and arrangement for a 12-piece orchestra. In July 2022 , he staged his second musical Beauty in US, for which he also wrote the music, the lyrics of the pieces and the arrangement for the 5-piece band. Before that, he mostly wrote arrangements for a wide variety of ensembles. As a pianist, he participated in several ensembles from popular to jazz music. He has been studying music from an early age. He started as a classical pianist at the Celje music school, then as a jazz pianist at the higher standard program and continued his studies in jazz piano at the Private University of music "Gustav Mahler" in Klagenfurt. He is currently studying at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana. ENEJ Nik JURAN started his musical career at the music school Domzale with prof. Alojz Pirnat and continued with prof. Katarina Kukovich. In 2017 and 2018, he won quite a few awards and prizes: a gold plaque at the National Competition Temsig and 2. Award, Gold Award at the international competition Svirel and 1. award at the international competition Bistricki Zvukolik in Croatia. In 2018, he continued his education at the Conservatory of music and ballet Ljubljana, where he was taught by Prof. Simon Klavzar and prof. Lola The Jet. In 2020, at the Temsig national competition, he won the gold plaque and 3. award. Since 2022, he continues his musical career at the Academy of music in Ljubljana with prof. Simon The Butcher. On his musical journey, Aeneas has attended quite a few seminars and workshops with renowned percussionists: Nebojsa Jovan Zhivkovi/, Philipp Lamprecht, the Britain Moore Duo, Brian Barker and others.

Februarski koncert nas bo tokrat popeljal na področje sakralnega jazza in črnske duhovne glasbe. V izvedbi Komornega zbora Mysterium iz Kranja , pod vodstvom dirigenta Lovra Freliha , bomo prisluhnili delu A Little Jazz Mass angleškega skladatelja Boba Chilcotta ter glasbi afriških ljudstev, ki so kot sužnji na ameriških tleh ohranjali in razvijali pesmi, poznane kot črnske duhovne pesmi ali spirituali . Zbor bosta z instrumentalno spremljavo dopolnila pianist Sven Pungartnik Rauter in tolkalec Enej Nik Juran . Koncert bo v sredo, 15. februarja 2023 ob 19.30. uri v uršulinski cerkvi Sv. Poleg rednega delovanje se pevci z zborovodjem in dirigentom Lovrom Frelihom, ki vodi zbor od leta 2017, lotevajo različnih projektov. Društvo organizira izobraževalne delavnice in že tradicionalne Poletne delavnice vokalne glasbe za ljubitelje petja. Zbor se z veseljem udeležuje dobrodelnih koncertov ter navezuje stike z drugimi pevskimi zbori po Sloveniji in v tujini. Čeprav je ljubiteljski zbor, se redno izobražuje skozi udeležbo na zborovskih delavnicah pod vodstvom priznanih slovenskih in tujih zborovodij. Izvaja vokalno in vokalno-inštrumentalno glasbo vseh zborovskih slogov in obdobij. Zbor redno uspešno sodeluje na festivalih in zborovskih tekmovanjih ter dobrodelnih dogodkih. Povezuje se z različnimi vokalnimi in instrumentalnimi zasedbami ter mladimi slovenskimi skladatelji. V minulem letu se je zbor odzval na povabilo Fondacije Sveti Petar Cetinjski iz Podgorice ter se podal na gostovanje v Črni Gori, kjer so se predstavili s sakralnim programom, niso pa pozabili tudi na slovensko ljudsko glasbo. Kulturno sodelovanje s Črno Goro je nastalo na pobudo Črnogorskega kulturno prosvetnega in športnega društva Morača iz Kranja ter Zveze kulturnih društev Kranj. Projekt je bil zelo odmeven tako doma kot tudi v Črni Gori. Jeseni so se udeležili regijskega tematskega koncerta Sozvočenja v Sokolskem domu v Škofji Loki in prejeli drugo nagrado. Za leto 2023 pripravljajo nekaj celovečernih koncertov sakralne glasbe. Navezali so stike z več slovenskimi pevskim zbori; skupaj z njimi bodo pripravili 3 celovečerne koncerte z naslovom Naj se sliš'. Za jeseni pripravljajo koncerte slovenske zimzelene glasbe, udeležili pa se bodo tudi regijskega tekmovanja zborovskih zasedb ter mednarodnega tekmovanja pevskih zborov v Tuhelju. LOVRO FRELIH (1988) je zborovodja, džezovski pianist in pedagog. Po zaključenem Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet Ljubljana, smer jazz klavir, se izobražuje na področju dirigiranja pri domačih in tujih mentorjih (Borut Smrekar, Tomaž Faganel, Uroš Lajovic, Steffen Schreyer, Georg Grün, Gary Graden, Sigvarts Klava, Adrian van der Spoel, Frieder Bernius, Krastin Nastev, Sergei Pavlov, Ragnar Rasmussen ter Urša Lah). Vodil je več zborov in z njimi prejel priznanja doma in v tujini (APZ Alojzij Mav, Domžalski komorni zbor, Komorni moški zbor Celje, Komorni zbor Ipavska, UPZ Emil Adamič ter Ženski pevski zbor Petrol). Trenutno vodi Komorni pevski zbor Mysterium Kranj. Je dvakratni udeleženec državnega zborovodskega tekmovanja Zvok mojih rok (2016 in 2022), kjer je leta 2022 kot polfinalist prejel posebno priznanje žirije za komunikacijo z zborom. SVEN PUNGARTNIK RAUTER kot glasbenik deluje predvsem kot skladatelj in pianist. Septembra 2021 je uprizoril svoj prvi avtorski muzikal Čisto Novi Svet , za katerega je napisal glasbo, besedilo in aranžma za 12-članski orkester. Julija 2022 je uprizoril svoj drugi muzikal Lepota v nas , za katerega je prav tako napisal glasbo, besedilo komadov in aranžma za 5-članski bend. Pred tem je večinoma pisal aranžmaje za najrazličnejše zasedbe. Kot pianist je sodeloval v več zasedbah od popularne do jazz glasbe. Glasbeno se šola že od malih nog. Začel je kot klasični pianist na Glasbeni šoli Celje, nato kot jazz pianist na nadstandardnem programu in nadaljeval študij jazz klavirja na Privatni univerzi za glasbo »Gustav Mahler« v Celovcu. Trenutno študira na Pravni fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. ENEJ NIK JURAN je začel svojo glasbeno pot v Glasbeni šoli Domžale pri prof. Alojzu Pirnatu in nadaljeval pri prof. Katarini Kukovič. V letih 2017 in 2018 je osvojil kar nekaj priznanj in nagrad: Zlata plaketa na državnem tekmovanju Temsig in 2. nagrada, Zlato priznanje na mednarodnem tekmovanju Svirel in 1. nagrado na mednarodnem tekmovanju Bistrički Zvukolik na Hrvaškem. Leta 2018 je svoje izobraževanje nadaljeval na Konservatoriju za glasbo in balet Ljubljana, kjer sta ga učila prof. Simon Klavžar in prof. Lola Mlačnik. Leta 2020 je na državnem tekmovanju Temsig osvojil zlato plaketo in 3. nagrado. Od leta 2022 nadaljuje svojo glasbeno pot na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani pri prof. Simonu Klavžarju. Na svoji glasbeni poti se je Enej udeležil kar nekaj seminarjev in delavnic pri priznanih tolkalcih: Nebojša Jovan Živković, Philipp Lamprecht, The Britain Moore Duo, Brian Barker in drugih.
