With the Fourth concert of the sacral subscription, we start the New Year 2023. The concert will be colored with Christmas content, and the program will include works by three composers who create in the present day. First, we will listen to a cantata by the Slovenian composer Aldo Kumar entitled One is a child born, then to a song by the American-Swedish composer Steve Dobrogosz, and a new cantata by the Slovenian composer Tadeja Vulc will sound as the central part of the concert - the birth of the light for two soloists, a narrator, a mixed choir and a chamber orchestra. The concert will feature: mixed Youth Choir and orchestra of I. Gymnasium in Celje Carinthian academic choir Mohorjan Prevalje academic choir Karel Destovnik Kajuh Celje Manja Vachovnik, Alto Lovro Carinthian, tenor Jurij Martincic, narrator. It will be conducted by Mr. Murgec and Mrs. Marcic. The concert will take place on Wednesday, 4. January 2023 at 19: 30. uri in the Ursuline Church of Sv. Trinity in Ljubljana. The birth of light cantata was baptised on the 15th. in December 2022, at the Christmas and New Year concert of the I. Gymnasium in Celje. The initiative was given by Tomaz Marcic and Uros Jurgec. The composition is entirely the work of composer Tadeja Vulc , who created both the lyrics and the music. TADEJA VULC (1978), Slovenian composer, conductor and pedagogue, acquired basic musical knowledge in her native Radlje ob Dravi. After graduating from the secondary school of music and ballet in Maribor and studying at the Academy of music in Ljubljana, she trained at the Higher School of music in Vienna. She is a conductor of the Maribor academic choir and a lecturer at the music department of the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor. She has received numerous awards for her work as a composer and conductor, including the student Preserna prize for the composition three iveri, 2. the prize of the anonymous competition of the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Slovenia for the song Re / / 1. award at the international competition APZ Tone Tomsic for the arrangement of a folk song, 4. award at the Rostrum competition in the Netherlands, Gallus statuette for outstanding achievements in the management of APZ Maribor, 1. the award and special conductor's award at the choir competition in Debrecen, Hungary, etc.the Carinthian academic choir MOHORJAN PREVALJE brings together students and younger employees from all over the Carinthian region. It was founded in 1999 under the auspices of the Mohorjan Cultural Association. Since 2018 , the choir has been led by Uros Jurgec, a former student of the I. Gymnasium in Celje, now a student of music pedagogy in Maribor. Under his leadership, in 2018, the choir achieved a gold award at the competition in Prague, Czech Republic and a special award for the best performance of a compulsory composition, and Uros Jurgec received the award for the best conductor in the category of mixed choir. The academic choir KAREL DESTOVNIK KAJUH, which operates in a mixed ensemble, consists of former and current students of the I. Gymnasium in Celje. In the past year, it was founded by Thomas Marcic . After only a few months, the choir was very successfully presented at the regional magazine, where it was nominated by an expert jury for a competition at the national level, and then also performed at the spring concert of the gymnasium choir. In the fall of this year, he performed a top concert called Musica noster amor . Mixed Youth Choir of the I Gymnasium in Celje, whose beginnings date back to 2. half 19. in 1945, the legendary choir leader Egon Kunej revived. Since 2009 , he has been led by Tomaz Marchic, who has achieved numerous successes on domestic and foreign stages, including 4 Gold Awards at the National Competition in Zagorje ob Savi, Silver Award at 30. international youth singing festival in Celje, Gold Awards at international competitions in Tuheljske Toplice in Croatia and in Bad Ischl in Austria, and Gold Awards and 1. places in competitions in Bad Krozingen, Germany, Prague, Czech Republic and Palmanova, Italy. The chamber orchestra consists mostly of former students and professors of the Celje Music School. They were collected and prepared for the concert by Tomaz Marcic.
S četrtim koncertom Sakralnega abonmaja začenjamo novo leto 2023. Koncert bo obarvan z božično vsebino, na programu pa bodo dela treh skladateljev, ki ustvarjajo v današnjem času. Najprej bomo prisluhnili kantati slovenskega skladatelja Alda Kumarja z naslovom ENO JE DETE ROJENO , nato skladbi LUX AETERNA ameriško-švedskega skladatelja Steva Dobrogosza, kot osrednje delo koncerta pa bo zazvenela nova kantata slovenske skladateljice Tadeje Vulc - ROJSTVO LUČI za dva solista, pripovedovalca, mešani zbor in komorni orkester. Na koncertu bodo skupaj nastopili: Mešani mladinski pevski zbor in orkester I. gimnazije v Celju Koroški akademski pevski zbor Mohorjan Prevalje Akademski pevski zbor Karel Destovnik Kajuh Celje Manja Vačovnik, alt Lovro Korošec, tenor Jurij Martinčič, pripovedovalec. Dirigenta bosta Uroš Jurgec in Tomaž Marčič. Koncert bo v sredo, 4. januarja 2023 ob 19.30. uri v uršulinski cerkvi Sv. Trojice v Ljubljani. Vstopnine ni, veseli pa bomo prostovoljni prispevkov. Kantata ROJSTVO LUČI je bila krstno izvedena 15. decembra 2022 na božično-novoletnem koncertu I. gimnazije v Celju. Pobudo zanjo sta dala Tomaž Marčič in Uroš Jurgec. Skladba je v celoti delo skladateljice Tadeje Vulc , ki je ustvarila tako besedilo kot glasbo. TADEJA VULC (1978) , slovenska skladateljica, dirigentka in pedagoginja, je osnovno glasbeno znanje pridobila v rodnih Radljah ob Dravi. Po končani Srednji glasbeni in baletni šoli v Mariboru ter študiju na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani se je izpopolnjevala na Visoki šoli za glasbo na Dunaju. Je dirigentka Akademskega pevskega zbora Maribor in predavateljica na glasbenem oddelku Pedagoške fakultete Univerze v Mariboru. Za svoje skladateljsko in dirigentsko delo je prejela številne nagrade, med njimi študentsko Prešernovo nagrado za skladbo Tri iveri, 2. nagrado anonimnega natečaja Ministrstva za kulturo RS za skladbo Requiem, 1. nagrado na mednarodnem natečaju APZ Tone Tomšič za priredbo ljudske pesmi, 4. nagrado na tekmovanju Rostrum na Nizozemskem, Gallusov kipec za izjemne dosežke pri vodenju APZ Maribor, 1. nagrado in posebno dirigentsko priznanje na zborovskem tekmovanju v Debrecenu na Madžarskem itd. KOROŠKI AKADEMSKI PEVSKI ZBOR MOHORJAN PREVALJE združuje študente in mlajše zaposlene iz celotne koroške regije. Ustanovili so ga leta 1999 pod okriljem Kulturnega društva Mohorjan. Od leta 2018 zbor vodi Uroš Jurgec , nekdanji dijak I. gimnazije v Celju, sedaj študent glasbene pedagogike v Mariboru. Pod njegovim vodstvom je zbor leta 2018 dosegel zlato priznanje na tekmovanju v Pragi na Češkem in posebno priznanje za najboljšo izvedbo obvezne skladbe, Uroš Jurgec pa je prejel priznanje za najboljšega dirigenta v kategoriji mešanih zborov. AKADEMSKI PEVSKI ZBOR KAREL DESTOVNIK KAJUH , ki deluje v mešani zasedbi, sestavljajo nekdanji in sedanji dijaki I. gimnazije v Celju. V preteklem letu ga je ustanovil Tomaž Marčič . Že po nekaj mesecih se je zbor zelo uspešno predstavil na območni reviji, kjer ga je strokovna žirija predlagala za tekmovanje na državni ravni, in nato nastopil tudi na pomladanskem koncertu gimnazijskega zbora. Jeseni letos je izvedel vrhunski koncert z naslovom Musica noster amor . MEŠANI MLADINSKI PEVSKI ZBOR I. GIMNAZIJE V CELJU , čigar začetki segajo v 2. polovico 19. stoletja, je l. 1945 znova obudil legendarni zborovodja Egon Kunej. Od l. 2009 ga vodi Tomaž Marčič , ki je z njim dosegel številne uspehe na domačih in tujih odrih, med njimi 4 zlata priznanja na državnem tekmovanju v Zagorju ob Savi, srebrno priznanje na 30. mednarodnem mladinskem pevskem festivalu v Celju, zlati priznanji na mednarodnih tekmovanjih v Tuheljskih toplicah na Hrvaškem in v Bad Ischlu v Avstriji ter zlata priznanja in 1. mesto na tekmovanjih v Bad Krozingenu v Nemčiji, v Pragi na Češkem in v Palmanovi v Italiji. Komorni orkester sestavljajo večinoma nekdanji dijaki in profesorji Glasbene šole Celje. Za koncert jih je zbral in pripravil Tomaž Marčič.
