Joseph makes the cradle of the gorenjska people
Mary gives birth to Jesus-Praise Be, Jesus Christ Prekmurje people's Republic – Slovenian people's Republic
The new work ITER STELLAE NATALIS or the journey of the Poinsettia takes the listener on a journey around the world through folk and folk songs from different countries. All the songs bring us the message of Christmas peace and the birth of Jesus. Accompanied by a colorfully varied Wind Quintet and Harp, The Choir presents many Christmas melodies, which are interconnected by recitatives accompanied by a harp. The peculiarity of recitatives is that the three most important persons - Jesus, Mary and Joseph, each have their own so-called leitmotif, which is taken from the Slovenian folk song Praise Be Jesus Christ. At each mention of a person in the recitative, the same melody or variation of the melody appears. In addition to the joy of Christmas, this composition should also be a celebration of the richness of Slovenian and world folk traditions, which with its simplicity should remind us of modesty, as was the stable in which the child was born. TINE BEC received his first musical education at GS Sevnica as a piano student. At the Conservatory of music and ballet in Ljubljana, he graduated in the field of music strike (prof. Bar Sojar Voglar) and piano (prof. Irena Koblar and Prof. Damjana Cvetko) and at the local music school also completed a higher degree of soloism with prof. Editi Garcevi / Kozhelj. At the academy he graduated in composition and music theory (Prof. Jani Golob), and received a master's degree in music-theoretical pedagogy. As a composer, he is most established in choral and vocal-instrumental music. His compositions have already received several awards, they are performed everywhere in Slovenia, and more and more often abroad. He regularly collaborates with Slovenian choirs such as Ambroz Chopi, Helena Fojkar Zupancic, Damjan Mochnik, Stojan Kuret, Tadeja Vulc, Barbara Kovacic etc. His most performed choral works are Cantate Domino, Deliver me, O Lord, Ave, maris stella and Missa pro iuventute. He acted as the choirmaster of several vocal groups and choirs. He was also an assistant to Stojan Kuret and Ambroz Chopi at the Vocal Academy Ljubljana and the Chamber Choir of the KGBL. Ambrose Chopi is also his mentor for choral composition. Since 2019, together with his wife Ana Bec, he has been leading new vocal ensembles within the Association Vocal Academy Ljubljana. Since the fall of 2017, he has been working at the St. George Institute. Stanislava as choirmaster of the Boys ' Choir, professor of vocal technique and accompanist of local choirs. He is the winner of the 2018 Grand plaque of the municipality of Kranj. In 2019, conductor Erik Shmid took over the direction of the choir and during its operation raised the choir to the leading choir in Gorenjska. The choir regularly collaborates with the choirs of the Kranj Gymnasium, where it originates, thus introducing the younger generation of singers to the world of choral music. ERIK Shmid, conductor and music educator, works at the Kranj gymnasium as a professor of music and conductor. He took the first steps of his musical career at the Kranj Music School, where he attended piano lessons with prof. Peter Mili and a solo lesson at mag. Francki Shenk. Novo delo ITER STELLAE NATALIS ali Potovanje božične zvezde poslušalca popelje na potovanje okrog sveta preko ljudskih in ponarodelih pesmi iz različnih držav. Vse pesmi nam prinašajo sporočilo božičnega miru in Jezusovega rojstva. Črt Sojar Voglar) in klavirja (prof. Irena Koblar in prof. Redno sodeluje s slovenskimi zborovodji kot so Ambrož Čopi, Helena Fojkar Zupančič, Damjan Močnik, Stojan Kuret, Tadeja Vulc, Barbara Kovačič idr. Njegova najbolj izvajana zborovska dela so Cantate Domino, Deliver me, O Lord, Ave, maris stella in Missa pro Iuventute. Pod njegovim vodstvom trenutno delujejo Dekliški pevski zbor Gimnazije Kranj, Akademski pevski zbor France Prešeren Kranj in Ženska vokalna skupina Lipa Litija.
