Dear visitors and Friends of the sacred subscription!
For the ninth year in a row, we have discovered together the beauty of sacred music, which fills us with peace and joy in the space of silence, images and symbols, and opens our gaze beyond the limitations of Earthly time and form into the vastness of the beauty of Eternity. Sacred music is the word dressed in sounds – the word of God the father, through which creation was created, a word full of life given to man, a word that creatively dwells in the heart of man. Therefore, any real art that a person bestows on a person approaches this creative artist, Christ and the spirit creator, and enters into eternal beauty. With a sacred subscription this season, we also want to feel at the concerts how the joint moment, in which the creativity of composers, the musicality of performers and the Active Listening of visitors connect, leads us from the lonely world of individualism to the fullness of the richness of relationships. This is also where space opens up for the word, which in each of us acts creatively on our daily paths of life. In the ninth season of the sacred subscription , we will be introduced in October by soloists Marko Fink and Lucas Somoza Osterc, who will present spiritual and Mary's songs for solo voices. In December, the chamber choir De profundis from Kranj will bring us closer to the advent path of the mother of God, and we will also round off this season with Mary's songs. In May they will sound performed by the Slovenian octet . This year's 200. on the anniversary of the birth of Slovenian missionary Ignatius Knoblehar, composer Aleksandra Naumovski Pushp wrote the cantata missionary . Under the leadership of Jelena Susnick, we will listen to her in November. In January, we will be happy to welcome the Slovenian choir from abroad, the mixed Youth Choir Emil Komel from Gorizia, which presented itself with distinction at the recent competition in Arezzo. They will share with us compositions from Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant traditions. We will first be introduced to lent by Franz Liszt's way of the cross with the interweaving of Gregorian chants, which will be performed by students and professors of the Academy of music of the University of Ljubljana . At the end of Lent, we will listen to the passion of Christ, modeled on Gregorian chant and vocal polyphony in 16. Century written by the Italian composer Francesco Corteccia. The passion will be performed by the vocal group from Italy Gruppo polifonico "Claudio Monteverdi" . The Easter concert will be jointly prepared by two choirs of Young Voices, The Girls 'Choir from Stvid pri Sticni and Our Boys' Choir Schellenburg . Together with all the performers, on behalf of the Schellenburg Cultural Association, I invite you to meet again at the Ursuline Church of St. George. Trinity in Ljubljana!

Spoštovani obiskovalci in prijatelji Sakralnega abonmaja!
Maja bodo zazvenele v izvedbi Slovenskega okteta . Ob letošnji 200. obletnici rojstva slovenskega misijonarja Ignacija Knobleharja je skladateljica Aleksandra Naumovski Potisk napisala kantato Misijonar . Pod vodstvom Jelene Susnick ji bomo prisluhnili meseca novembra. Trojice v Ljubljani!
