Dear visitors of the sacred subscription!
Every year, as part of eight concerts, we try to present you with a selection of music that you may hear less often, but we are sure that through it you can feel the greatness of God's love, which is revealed in so many different ways. Music that arises today, perhaps from reflection, perhaps from spontaneous inspiration, but at the same time does not seek external expressions, but is faithful to what was the aesthetic guide in past eras, such music today can appeal all the more because it is closer to us, because it is part of that experience that is often ignored and marginalized. As if we had to hide that even now we feel and experience the way generations have in past centuries. This season we will be able to listen to a large range of such music, while there will be no shortage of traditional Gregorian chant, classical old polyphony and the ever-stunning spiritual music of the eastern liturgy.
Already at the first concert in mid-October, we will enjoy the work of Sunrise Mass by the contemporary composer of the younger generation, Ola Gjeil, performed by United choirs and instrumentalists. We will feel the astringency of death in re Iver Kleive , in the interpretation of the choir from Trzic, the excellent Choir of St. Nicholas will be with us again. Nikolai from Litija, who will also perform a new composition by the internationally renowned young Slovenian composer Andrej Makor. The week for the unity of Christians will be enriched by the psallite choir from Ljubljana under the leadership of the sensitive interpreter of Vocal Music, Matjaz Shchek , with us will be a young girls choir from Gorizia and the vocal group Ridiamo , which consists of excellent vocalists themselves. For the conclusion of the season of the sacred subscription, the performance of the newly created work by the English composer John Rutter: Mass of the children.

Cenjeni obiskovalci Sakralnega abonmaja!
Vsako leto vam v okviru osmih koncertov poskušamo predstaviti izbor glasbe, ki jo morda redkeje slišite, a smo prepričani, da lahko preko nje začutite veličino božje ljubezni, ki se razodeva na toliko različnih načinov. Glasba, ki se poraja danes, morda iz premišljevanja, morda iz spontanega navdiha, obenem pa ne išče zunanjih izrazov, ampak je zvesta tistemu, kar je bilo estetsko vodilo v preteklih obdobjih, taka glasba danes lahko še toliko bolj nagovarja, ker nam je bliže, ker je del tistega doživljanja, ki je pogosto prezrto in postavljeno na rob. Kot da bi morali skrivati, da tudi sedaj čutimo in doživljamo tako, kot so generacije v preteklih stoletjih. V letošnji sezoni bomo lahko prisluhnili velikemu naboru take glasbe, ob tem pa ne bo manjkalo tradicionalnega gregorijanskega korala, klasične stare polifonije in vedno presunljive duhovne glasbe vzhodne liturgije.
Že na prvem koncertu sredi oktobra bomo uživali v delu Sunrise Mass sodobnega skladatelja mlajše generacije, Ola Gjeila, v izvedbi združenih zborov in instrumentalistov. Trpkost smrti bomo začutili v Requiemu Iverja Kleive , v interpretaciji zbora iz Tržiča, ponovno bo z nami odlični Zbor sv. Nikolaja iz Litije , ki bo izvedel tudi novo skladbo mednarodno uveljavljenega mladega slovenskega skladatelja Andreja Makorja. Teden za edinost kristjanov bo obogatil zbor Psallite iz Ljubljane pod vodstvom tenkočutnega interpreta vokalne glasbe, Matjaža Ščeka , z nami bo mlad dekliški zbor iz goriškega zamejstva in vokalna skupina Ridiamo , ki jo sestavljajo sami odlični vokalisti. Za sklep sezone Sakralnega abonmaja pa izvedba novonastalega dela angleškega skladatelja Johna Rutterja: Mass of the children.
