Dear fans of sacred music!
We kindly invite you to 2. a concert of Sacred subscription entitled Laudamus te-pearls of sacred music . We will listen to excerpts from the vocal-instrumental works of Baroque composers A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach and G. F. H. Fumndl, arias from Eli F. Mendelssohn's oratorio and compositions from the treasury of Slovenian and foreign sacred works, including Laudamus te for two soloists and orchestra by composer Andrej Misson.
Accompanied by the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra, internationally renowned soloists will perform: soprano Francka Shenk, baritone Lucas Somoza Osterc and concert guest mezzo-soprano Bernarda Fink . The conductor will be Ziga Kert .
The concert will take place on Wednesday, 22. in November 2023, at 19: 30. uri in the Ursuline Church of Sv. Trinity in Ljubljana.
There is no entrance fee, but we will be glad to volunteer contributions.

Soprano FRANCKA Shenk is an opera and concert singer and solopev pedagogue. She obtained Master's degrees in all three directions at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Before that, she graduated from the Academy of music with a degree in music pedagogy and completed singing at the Ljubljana Secondary School of music and Ballet (Now KGBL) in the class of prof. Marcos Bajuk. He regularly performs at solo recitals, participates in chamber ensembles, in performances of novelties by contemporary composers and in performances of vocal-instrumental works in Slovenia and abroad. As a guest soloist, she performed for several years at SNG Opera and ballet Ljubljana. She has recorded for the archives of Radio Slovenia and French radio Culture France, a collection of CDs Musica Sacra Slovenica, three solo CDs and recordings with numerous musical ensembles.
She is a full professor of singing in Austria at the Gustav Mahler private music University in Klagenfurt, where she is also head of the department, and also a visiting lecturer at the higher Pedagogical School. Every year he conducts a singing seminar at the music Matica in Ljubljana, as well as other trainings for singers and choirboys across Slovenia. She is a member of the newly formed band for Contemporary Music in Klagenfurt, and prepares thematic concerts for the future.
BERNARDA FINK, a mezzo-soprano, was born to Slovenian parents in Buenos Aires (Argentina), and received her singing and music education at the Teatra Col Fautn School of Arts, where she performed regularly. Her repertoire is wide and ranges from early music to works by contemporary composers. As a singer known for her versatility, she has regularly performed together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras, the royal orchestra Concertgebou II, The Cleveland Orchestra, and also with the best baroque orchestras under the direction of conductors such as Barenboim, Blomstedt, Bichkov, Chaill III, Gardiner, Gergiev, Jacobs, Jansons, Muti, Nelsons, Norrington, Pinnock, PR Saraste and modulelser-m modulst. As an opera singer, she impressed critics in Argentina and Central European opera houses.
The artist's extensive repertoire is evidenced by a rich and award-winning discography. Bernarda Fink is a recipient of the Austrian badge of honour for science and art and the honorary title Kammers Amulngerin . In 2013, together with Mark Fink, she received the Preseren Fund award.
Baritone LUCAS SOMOZA OSTERC was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He perfected his vocal technique with Professor Victor Srug and completed his studies in opera and concert singing at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Col Ultn in Buenos Aires in 2010. Between 2007 and 2010 he was a scholar of the Fundaci Ilucn de M Ilucsica de C Ilucmara, where he was able to improve in the interpretation of oratorios and German and French solos with Professor Guillermo Opitz.
In 2008, he made his debut in the role of Mercutio at Gounod's Opera Romeo And Juliet in Buenos Aires (compan Aluca Juventus L'amulrica Teatro Avenida) and at the Teatro San Rafael de Aguiar in the city of San Nicol argues, Buenos Aires province. In the period from 2008 to 2011, in Buenos Aires singing the operah The Fairy Queen Henryja Purcella (Phoebus, Hymen), and in the Beethovnovem Fideliu (2. the prisoner), in Puccini's Madame butterfl / / (Yakuside, Jamadori), in Donizetti's Opera Belizar (the captain), and in Bizet's Pearl seekers (Zurga) at the Avenida Theatre. He qualified for the semi-finals at the International Competition of Hugo Animatolfo for singer soloists in Slovenj Gradec; he was then selected in 2011 for the 22nd. international competition in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and in 2014 also for the international singing competition at the Salzburg Mozarteum. In 2013, he sang Guglielma in Mozart's Cos lighting fan tutte at the Dubrovnik Summer Games. In 2014, with the BBC Orchestra in Manchester, he recorded for Chandos Records the solo part suite Estancio by Argentine composer Alberto Ginastera, conducted by Juanjo Mena. He was then invited to participate in Rossini's Opera The Way in Reims (don Profondo, Antonio) at the festival in Bad 6ildbad, Germany, and as part of this opera production took part in the recording of an integral version of the said opera work for the publishing house at the 6th. He has also collaborated with the BBC National Orchestra of Animatales in Cardiff. He sang as a soloist at the National operetta Theatre in Kiev, in Croatia at Carmina Burana, and in Faure's Requiem at the Slovenian Philharmonic.
He and pianist Vladimir Mlinari FC regularly perform various chamber concerts. They performed with guitarist Zharko Ignjatovi Oklem with Schubert's cycle "Die Sch okulne m Okulllerin" (Ljubljana, Slovenj Gradec, Budapest, Buenos Aires and Klagenfurt). With this cycle, he also presented himself in 2022 at the Sal Ilkunn Dorado Teatra Col Ilkunn in Buenos Aires. Among the last projects was the role of Count Carl Magnus in the musical Little Night Music in the Linhart Hall of Cankarjev Dom for SKGG. He also performed as Uberto at La serva padrona in Gorizia.
Conductor Ziga Kert studied at the Academy of music in Ljubljana at the Department of music pedagogy, where he completed his studies under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Mark Vatovec. He is also a student of orchestral conducting at the Conservatory of music in Klagenfurt, first in the class of Prof. Ale alume Kornienko, now under the tutelage of prof. Martin A. Fuchsberger. He studied Solo singing with mag. Prof. Francki Shenk. He began his musical career at the age of six by studying piano at The Piano Forte music school. While growing up, he participated in many children's and youth choirs.
After enrolling at the Academy of Music (2011), a year later he founded the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra in Skofja Loka, with which he prepares two different thematic concerts annually. In 2015, he founded the Crescendo mixed choir, which focuses mainly on performing more demanding choral music. He participates in various conducting seminars (Georg GR Rektn, Tomaz Faganel, Gar 6 Graden, Stojan Kuret, etc.), choral competitions (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Latvia – competition for the Grand at the event, Greece, Slovenia) and festivals or symposia (France – Choralies, Spain – World choral symposium, America – ACDA) both at home and abroad. He also attended a seminar in the United States twice, at The Salt Lake CIT edition in Utah with the world-renowned conductor Dr. Brad Edition Allred.
He is currently working as a music professor at the pre-Oslje Kranj Elementary School, where he also directs two children's and youth choirs. He also directs the youth mixed choir of the gymnasium Skofja Loka, the Mixed Choir Crescendo, the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra, The Church choir hope in the guard house near Kranj and the women's Choir Roz in St. James, Austria.
The CRESCENDO Symphony Orchestra began operating in November 2012 under the auspices of the gymnasium Skofja Loka. The orchestra now operates within the Crescendo Music Society, which was founded at the end of 2013. The orchestra is created under the baton of conductor Ziga Kert and consists of about 40 musicians. It is gratifying that the orchestra consists mostly of high school students and students, so they can boldly look into the future of their creation and operation. Their program consists of classical music as well as compositions by local and foreign composers and arrangements of popular music.

Spoštovani ljubitelji sakralne glasbe!
Vljudno vas vabimo na 2. koncert Sakralnega abonmaja z naslovom Laudamus te – biseri sakralne glasbe . Prisluhnili bomo odlomkom iz vokalno-instrumentalnih del baročnih skladateljev A. Vivaldija, J. S. Bacha in G. F. Händla, arijam iz oratorija Elija F. Mendelssohna ter skladbam iz zakladnice slovenskih in tujih sakralnih del, med njimi tudi Laudamus te za dva solista in orkester skladatelja Andreja Missona.
Ob spremljavi Simfoničnega orkestra Crescendo bodo nastopili mednarodno uveljavljeni solisti: sopranistka Francka Šenk, baritonist Lucas Somoza Osterc ter gostja koncerta mezzosopranistka Bernarda Fink . Dirigent bo Žiga Kert .
Koncert bo v sredo, 22. novembra 2023, ob 19.30. uri v uršulinski cerkvi Sv. Trojice v Ljubljani.
Vstopnine ni, veseli pa bomo prostovoljnih prispevkov.

Sopranistka FRANCKA ŠENK je operna in koncertna pevka ter solopevska pedagoginja. Magistrske nazive iz vseh treh smeri je pridobila na Univerzi Mozarteum v Salzburgu. Pred tem je na Akademiji za glasbo diplomirala iz glasbene pedagogike ter zaključila smer petje na Srednji glasbeni in baletni šoli Ljubljana (zdaj KGBL) v razredu prof. Marcosa Bajuka. Redno nastopa na samostojnih recitalih, sodeluje v komornih zasedbah, pri izvedbah novitet sodobnih skladateljev ter pri izvedbah vokalno-inštrumentalnih del v Sloveniji in tujini. Kot gostujoča solistka je več let nastopala v SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana. Snemala je za arhiv Radia Slovenija in francoski radio Culture France, zbirko zgoščenk Musica Sacra Slovenica, tri samostojne zgoščenke ter posnetke s številnimi glasbenimi zasedbami.
Je redna profesorica petja v Avstriji na Zasebni glasbeni univerzi Gustava Mahlerja v Celovcu, kjer je tudi predstojnica oddelka, poleg tega pa gostujoča predavateljica na Visoki pedagoški šoli. Vsako leto vodi pevski seminar pri Glasbeni matici v Ljubljani ter druga izobraževanja za pevce in zborovodje po Sloveniji. Je članica novoustanovljene zasedbe za sodobno glasbo v Celovcu, za prihodnost pa pripravlja tematske koncerte.
Mezzosopranistka BERNARDA FINK je bila rojena slovenskim staršem v Buenos Airesu (Argentina) ter je prejela pevsko in glasbeno izobrazbo na Visoki šoli za umetnost Teatra Colón, kjer je tudi redno nastopala. Njen repertoar je širok in sega od stare glasbe do del sodobnih skladateljev. Kot pevka, ki je poznana po svoji vsestranskosti, je redno nastopala skupaj z Orkestrom Londonske filharmonije, Dunajskimi in Berlinskimi filharmoniki, Kraljevim orkestrom Concertgebouw, orkestrom iz Clevelanda in tudi z najboljšimi baročnimi orkestri pod vodstvom dirigentov, kot so Barenboim, Blomstedt, Bičkov, Chailly, Gardiner, Gergijev, Jacobs, Jansons, Muti, Nelsons, Norrington, Pinnock, Prêtre, Rattle, Saraste in Welser-Möst. Kot operna pevka je navduševala kritike v Argentini in osrednjih evropskih opernih hišah.
O umetničinem obsežnem repertoarju priča bogata in s številnimi priznanji nagrajena diskografija. Bernarda Fink je prejemnica avstrijskega častnega znaka za znanost in umetnost ter častnega naziva Kammersängerin . Leta 2013 je skupaj z Markom Finkom prejela nagrado Prešernovega sklada.
Baritonist LUCAS SOMOZA OSTERC se je rodil v Buenos Airesu, Argentina. Vokalno tehniko je izpopolnjeval pri profesorju Victorju Srugu in leta 2010 končal študij opernega in koncertnega petja na Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón v Buenos Airesu. Med letoma 2007 in 2010 je bil štipendist Fundación de Música de Cámara, kjer se je lahko izpopolnjeval v interpretaciji oratorijev in nemških ter francoskih samospevov pri profesorju Guillermu Opitzu.

Udeležil se je mojstrskih tečajev, ki so jih vodili: Teresa Berganza (leta 2008 v Buenos Airesu in leta 2012 v Bougivalu v Franciji), profesorica Breda Zakotnik (Mozarteum Salzburg) in tenorist Raúl Gimenez v nemškem Bad Wildbadu.
Na mednarodnem natečaju Huga Wolfa za pevce soliste v Slovenj Gradcu se je uvrstil v polfinale; nato je bil leta 2011 izbran za 22. mednarodni natečaj v Clermont-Ferrandu v Franciji, v letu 2014 pa tudi za mednarodni natečaj petja na salzburškem Mozarteumu. Leta 2013 je pel Guglielma v Mozartovi Così fan tutte na Dubrovniških poletnih igrah. Leta 2014 je z orkestrom BBC v Manchestru posnel za založbo Chandos Records solistični part suite Estancia argentinskega skladatelja Alberta Ginastere, dirigiral je Juanjo Mena. Nato je bil povabljen k sodelovanju v Rossinijevi operi Pot v Reims (don Profondo, Antonio) na festivalu v Bad Wildbadu v Nemčiji in v sklopu te operne produkcije sodeloval pri posnetku integralne verzije omenjenega opernega dela za založbo Naxos. Sodeloval tudi z BBC National Orchestra of Wales v Cardiffu. Kot solist je pel v Narodnem gledališču operete v Kijevu, na Hrvaškem v Carmini Burani ter v Faurejevem Rekviemu v Slovenski filharmoniji.
S pianistom Vladimirjem Mlinarićem redno izvajata različne komorne koncerte. S kitaristom Žarkom Ignjatovićem sta nastopila s Schubertovim ciklom » Die schőne Műllerin « (Ljubljana, Slovenj Gradec, Budimpešta, Buenos Aires in Celovec). S tem ciklom se je leta 2022 predstavil tudi v Salón Dorado Teatra Colón v Buenos Airesu. Med zadnjimi projekti je bila vloga grofa Carla Magnusa pri muzikalu Mala nočna glasba v Linhartovi dvorani Cankarjevega doma za SKGG. Nastopil je tudi kot Uberto pri La serva padrona v Gorici.
Dirigent ŽIGA KERT je študiral na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani na oddelku za glasbeno pedagogiko, kjer je študij zaključil pod mentorstvom izr. prof. Marka Vatovca. Prav tako je tudi študent orkestrskega dirigiranja na Konservatoriju za glasbo v Celovcu, najprej v razredu prof. Alexeja Kornienka, sedaj pa pod taktirko prof. Martina A. Fuchsbergerja. Solo petja se je učil pri mag. prof. Francki Šenk. Svojo glasbeno pot je začel pri šestih letih z učenjem klavirja v glasbeni šoli Piano Forte. Med odraščanjem je sodeloval pri številnih otroških in mladinskih zborih.
Po vpisu na Akademijo za glasbo (2011) je leto kasneje v Škofji Loki ustanovil Simfonični orkester Crescendo, s katerim pripravi letno dva različna tematska koncerta. Leta 2015 je ustanovil tudi Mešani pevski zbor Crescendo, katerega usmerja predvsem v izvajanje zahtevnejše zborovske glasbe. Udeležuje se različnih dirigentskih seminarjev (Georg Grün, Tomaž Faganel, Gary Graden, Stojan Kuret …), zborovskih tekmovanj (Slovaška, Češka, Latvija – tekmovanje za Grand Prix, Grčija, Slovenija) in festivalov oz. simpozijev (Francija – Choralies, Španija – Svetovni zborovski simpozij, Amerika – ACDA) tako doma kot tudi v tujini. Dvakrat se je udeležil tudi seminarja v ZDA, in sicer v Salt Lake Cityju v zvezni državi Utah pri svetovno znanem dirigentu dr. Bradyju Allredu.
Trenutno je kot profesor glasbe zaposlen na Osnovni šoli Predoslje Kranj, kjer tudi vodi dva otroška in mladinski pevski zbor. Prav tako vodi Mladinski mešani pevski zbor Gimnazije Škofja Loka, Mešani pevski zbor Crescendo, Simfonični orkester Crescendo, cerkveni pevski zbor Upanje v Stražišču pri Kranju in Ženski pevski zbor Rož v Šentjakobu v Avstriji.
SIMFONIČNI ORKESTER CRESCENDO je začel delovati novembra 2012 pod okriljem Gimnazije Škofja Loka. Orkester sedaj deluje v okviru Glasbenega društva Crescendo, ki je bilo ustanovljeno ob koncu leta 2013. Orkester ustvarja pod taktirko dirigenta Žige Kerta, sestavlja pa ga okoli 40 glasbenikov. Razveseljivo je, da je orkester sestavljen večinoma iz dijakov in študentov, s čimer lahko pogumno zrejo v prihodnost njihovega ustvarjanja in delovanja. Njihov program sestavlja tako klasična glasba kot tudi skladbe domačih in tujih skladateljev ter priredbe popularne glasbe.
