Dragan Sakan, a psychologist by profession, pioneered advertising in Serbia and other countries in the region. He was a creative director, a man of vision and success, one of the first recognizable personalities of our business area. Sakan was closely associated with Piran, a city that entered the world map of creativity with him. It was here that the ideas that marked his creative path were born: from the transition to Studio marketing work to the development of the world Saatchi & Saatchi in the Balkans, the creation of the agency Ne Entertainment Moment and the IdeaCampus festival.
In 2011, in honor of his memory, the family presented the municipality of Piran with a bronze sculpture made according to his idea. It represents Piran as a cultural and creative city and is located by the sea in front of the Tartini Theater. Piran pays tribute to him again this year.
This time with the exhibition "Sakan in Piran", which was created in cooperation and with the support of the Embassy of Serbia in Slovenia, the first adviser Aleksandr Gatalica, the Sakan family and his friends, with the support of the municipality of Piran and with the help of the coastal galleries of Piran . Special thanks for the collaboration go to Marko Marshicevi . The installation reveals selected photographs from Sakana's early creative years and the first meetings with Piran, as well as the periods of his greatest successes that he shared with this city.
The curators of the exhibition, entitled Sakan and Piran, are Lazar Sakan and Slavoljub Stankovi . The exhibition will be on display until 16. in August 2026.

Vljudno vas vabimo na odprtje razstave SAKAN IN PIRAN, ki bo v Galeriji Herman Pečarič Piran, v četrtek, 14. 5. 2026 ob 18. uri.
Dragan Sakan, po poklicu psiholog, je bil pionir oglaševanja v Srbiji in drugih državah v regiji. Bil je kreativni direktor, človek vizije in uspehov, ena prvih prepoznavnih osebnosti našega poslovnega prostora. Sakan je bil tesno povezan s Piranom, mestom, ki se je prav z njim vpisalo na svetovni zemljevid ustvarjalnosti. Tu so se rojevale zamisli, ki so zaznamovale njegovo ustvarjalno pot: od prehoda v Studio Marketing Delo do razvoja svetovnega Saatchi & Saatchi na Balkanu , ustanovitve agencije New Moment in festivala IdeaCampus.
V počastitev njegovega spomina je družina leta 2011 Občini Piran podarila bronasto skulpturo, izdelano po njegovi zamisli. Predstavlja Piran kot kulturno-kreativno mesto in se nahaja ob morju pred Gledališčem Tartini. Piran se mu letos ponovno poklanja.
Tokrat z razstavo »Sakan in Piran«, ki je nastala v sodelovanju in s podporo Veleposlaništva Srbije v Sloveniji, prvim svetovalcem Aleksandrom Gatalico, družino Sakan in njegovimi prijatelji, s podporo Občine Piran in s pomočjo Obalnih galerij Piran . Posebna zahvala za sodelovanje gre Marku Maršičeviću . Postavitev razkriva izbrane fotografije iz zgodnjih ustvarjalnih let ter prvih srečanj Sakana s Piranom pa tudi obdobja njegovih največjih uspehov, ki jih je delil s tem mestom.
Kustosa razstave z naslovom Sakan in Piran sta Lazar Sakan in Slavoljub Stanković . Razstava bo na ogled do 16. avgusta 2026.
