Sri Lanka during the Civil War amazes us with the cruelty of what is happening in the country. The main protagonist, Maali, is a photographer, atheist and homosexual who earns his living by photographing war hotspots and massacres. Maali finds herself in an interlude, a special world between the living and the dead. Chaos reigns everywhere, consisting of corrupt policemen, corrupt politicians, an army that sows death. He has seven moons at his disposal to fly over his life, find the truth about his death, protect his loved ones and carry out hidden plans.
