Gorizia and Nova Gorica just after the inauguration of the joint capital of culture. Music and music that I want to be one. One city. A city that breathes across the border with the Slovenian and Italian lung wings, with the penetration of thinkers who have inhabited these places for a long time, and young generations who would like to fill this area with fresh air of new ideas and wishes for co-creation of a better common future.
It is people who breathe life into houses. Cities are not houses, but people who live in them. Houses without living people are like stone ghosts. And a city without townspeople. The city is not a cadastral, but a symbolic category. It is not a matter of house numbers, but of belonging and awareness of some belonging.

Great historical games demolish, divide and tame cities, but cities do not die – even when they fall apart, they once sprout anew, albeit with traces of the past, with invisible threads that intertwine, connect and at the same time separate. In places, their breath seems to be suffocating, a whisper of stories of defeat spreads all around, New disputes smolder, old wounds open, but there is a corner where hope arises from the ruins. Like maps of hearts that spread across all borders. It is up to us to open the door in places over the transcended wounds, even if we fall in places.
