This game will be over is a grotesque game about modern times and its dilemmas, written in the recognizable Zupancic style, which draws readers into the action with the first replica of one of the heroes of contemporaries: "this is not true!"And indeed, when we read a precisely structured game, the hero's replica appears in our heads all the time in several paraphrases from "well, since this cannot be true" to "yes, it is true just as it seems that it should not be true". Once again, Zupancic's heroes are those who could easily be recognized among us by some features, but on the other hand, they are already somewhere beyond. In an almost post-katastrophic time, which is persistently predicted during the game and encourages connections to grotesquely unreal, but at the same time quite real events of the pandemic of recent years and the new millennium, which has been out of print since its beginnings.

Te igre bo konec je groteskna igra o sodobnem času in njegovih dilemah, zapisana v prepoznavnem Zupančičevem slogu, ki bralce potegne v dogajanje s prvo repliko enega od junakov sodobnikov: »To ni res!« In res se, ko prebiramo natančno strukturirano igro, ves čas pojavlja v naših glavah junakova replika v več parafrazah od »Pa saj to ne more biti res« do »Ja, res je prav tako, kot se zdi, da ne bi smelo biti res«. Tudi tokrat so Zupančičevi junaki tisti, ki bi jih lahko po nekaterih lastnostih brez težav razpoznali med nami, po drugi strani pa so že nekje onkraj. V nekem že skorajda postkatastrofičnem času, ki se vztrajno napoveduje med igro in spodbuja navezave na groteskno irealne, hkrati pa še kako realne dogodke pandemijskih zadnjih let in novega tisočletja, ki je vse od svojih začetkov iz tira.
