Maritime Museum" Sergei Mashera " Piran village on Friday, 15. in May 2026, at 19. uri invites to the Ethnological collection Tonina house in Sv. To Peter at the opening of the exhibition by intermedia artist Lee Jazbec: corporeality and the essence of space II.
The event will be enriched with song and play by the group of the Cultural Association Shavrini and Anko Shavrinka, which preserves and transmits the intangible heritage of the Slovenian Istrian countryside.
Leah Badger approaches the exploration of nature and man by experimenting, using different media and light. In the exhibition project, he presents a series of portraits that establish the relationship between man and landscape. The exhibited works were created in 2023 during an artistic residence at the House of Alojz Kocjancic in Kubed, where she explored the landscape and the human being by portraying Shavrins and Shavrinks, whose origin and way of life the artist associates with hard Karst Stone.
The exhibition is part of the in Situ project, which is closely related to nature or the area of the room. It talks about our activity, movement and the traces we leave, or the various consequences of our functioning in space.

Pomorski muzej »Sergej Mašera« Piran vas v petek, 15. maja 2026, ob 19. uri vabi v Etnološko zbirko Tonina hiša v Sv. Petru na odprtje razstave intermedijske umetnice Lee Jazbec: Telesnost in esenca prostora II.
Dogodek bo s pesmijo in igro obogatila skupina Kulturnega društva Šavrini in anka Šavrinke, ki ohranja in prenaša nesnovno dediščino slovenskega istrskega podeželja.
Lea Jazbec se raziskovanja narave in človeka loteva z eksperimentiranjem, uporabo različnih medijev in svetlobe. V razstavnem projektu predstavlja serijo portretov, ki vzpostavljajo odnos med človekom in krajino. Razstavljena dela so nastala leta 2023 med umetniško rezidenco v hiši Alojza Kocjančiča v Kubedu, kjer je z ročnim grafičnim odtisom fotografije na kamen Repen Povir raziskovala krajino in človeka skozi portretiranje Šavrinov in Šavrink, katerih izvor in način življenja umetnica povezuje s trdim kraškim kamnom.
Razstava je del projekta In Situ, ki je tesno povezan z naravo oziroma površino prostora. Govori o naši aktivnosti, gibanju in sledeh, ki jih puščamo, oziroma različnih posledicah našega delovanja v prostoru.
