Oliver Pilić in his most recent presentation, it focuses on the exploration of the image, in its origin and in its transformation. The artist proceeds from photographs from the mass media, which he transforms into independent works of art through thoughtful interventions and graphic procedures.
By intertwining traditional techniques such as woodcut and modern digital approaches, he draws attention to the relationship between reproduction and uniqueness. The process of creating works – from the choice of motive to the physical imprint – becomes a key part of their content. The exhibition raises questions about how the meaning of the painting changes over time, with the change of media and with the artist's intervention, which breathes a new material and conceptual dimension into the image.
The curator of the exhibition is Matic Veler. The exhibition will be on display until 18. in April 2026.

Oliver Pilić se v svoji najnovejši predstavitvi posveča raziskovanju podobe, njenega izvora in njenih preobrazb. Umetnik izhaja iz fotografij iz množičnih medijev, ki jih s premišljenimi posegi in grafičnimi postopki preoblikuje v samostojna likovna dela.
S prepletanjem tradicionalnih tehnik, kot je lesorez, in sodobnih digitalnih pristopov opozarja na razmerje med reprodukcijo in unikatnostjo. Proces nastajanja del – od izbire motiva do fizičnega odtisa – postane ključen del njihove vsebine. Z razstavo odpirajo vprašanja o tem, kako se pomen slike spreminja skozi čas, z menjavo medijev ter z umetnikovim posegom, ki podobi vdahne novo materialno in konceptualno razsežnost.
