Each city has its own urban legends-for the most part, they are completely fictional or, at most, semi-real. Even if some of them are anchored in the consciousness of the inhabitants so much that they are ready to quarrel “to death” with you about their “credibility” . Maribor, of course, is no exception. We , too, have urban “truths” that some take for dry gold. However, they (at least some) have their own background and explanation of how they were formed and slowly paved their way into the city's “history” .

Vsako mesto ima svoje urbane legende – po večini so popolnoma izmišljene ali kvečjemu polresnične. Pa čeprav so nekatere zasidrane v zavest prebivalcev tako zelo, da so se o njihovi “verodostojnosti” z vami pripravljeni skregati “na smrt”. Maribor seveda ni nikakršna izjema. Tudi mi imamo mestne “resnice”, ki jih nekateri jemljejo za suho zlato. Imajo pa (vsaj nekatere) svoje ozadje in razlago, kako so nastale ter si počasi utrle pot v mestno “zgodovino”.
