in the context of " 8. March-International Women's day", the opening of the exhibition of the New York painter Daria Gordi / Milinkovi / will take place in the small hall .
Born in Panchevo (Serbia), the painter graduated from the art gymnasium in Shabec, then graduated from the Higher School of fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade in 2001. So far, she has presented herself to the general public through a series of solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. For several years she worked as an organizer and mentor of various art exhibitions.
About the painter art critic mag. Sinisha Vidakovich points out the following: "catching the pulse of everyday life, melting it into one's own and universal art, into art that is relieved of the demands of ultra – modern trendy engagement, became the main guideline in the work of the artist Daria Gordi / Milinkovi/, supported by the posavsko-tamnava spirit that is woven into her creation.
The figure, when the most complex motif, which contemporary artists approach with distrust, has become part of an intimate communication, a quote from the journey of their own fragments into the microworld of joy, into its true nature, into the world of pure, simple, into the world of harmony and the origin of the life juices of truth.
Animal motifs have become her world, her rounded whole and at the same time a place of creative trial of all tasks, which are the essence and calling of every artist.«
The exhibition is organized by Kulturni dom in Gorizia in cooperation with the Maja cultural cooperative from Gorizia (within the framework of the project "Let's discover talents"), with the patronage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and the municipalities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica (ECOC 2025) .
The exhibition will be open until 22. in March 2024, according to the following schedule: (Monday to Friday) from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 15.30 to 18.00, and in the evening during various cultural events.
v okviru »8. marca – Mednarodnega dneva žena«, bo v mali dvorani odprtje razstave novogoriške slikarke Darije Gordić Milinković .
Slikarka je rojena v Pančevu (Srbija), zaključila pa je umetniško gimnazijo v Šabcu, nato je leta 2001 diplomirala na Višji šoli likovnih in uporabnih umetnosti v Beogradu. Doslej se je širši javnosti predstavila z vrsto samostojnih razstav in sodelovala na številnih skupinskih razstavah. Več let se je udejstvovala kot organizatorica in mentorica raznih likovnih razstav.
O slikarki likovni kritik mag. Siniša Vidakovič izpostavlja naslednje: »Uloviti utrip vsakdana, ga pretopiti v lastno in univerzalno umetnost, v umetnost, ki je razbremenjena zahtev ultra moderne trendovske angažiranosti, je postal glavno vodilo v delu umetnice Darije Gordić Milinković, podprt še s posavsko – tamnavskim duhom, ki je vtkan v njeno ustvarjanje.
Figura, ko najzahtevnejši motiv, ki se ga sodobni umetniki z nezaupanjem lotevajo, je postala del intimnega sporočanja, citat potovanja lastnih drobcev v mikrosvet radosti, v njen pravir, v svet čistega, enostavnega, v svet harmonije in izvora življenjskih sokov resnice.
Motivi živali so postali njen svet, njena zaokrožena celota in hkrati prostor ustvarjalne preizkušnje prav vseh nalog, ki so bistvo in klic vsakega umetnika.«
Razstavo prireja Kulturni dom v Gorici v sodelovanju s kulturno zadrugo Maja iz Gorice (v okviru projekta »Odkrivajmo talente«), s pokroviteljstvom Dežele Furlanije Julijske krajine ter občin Gorica in Nova Gorica (EPK 2025) .
Razstava bo odprta vse do 22. marca 2024 po sledečem urniku: (od ponedeljka do petka) od 9.30 do 12.30 in od 15.30 do 18.00 ure, ter v večernih urah med raznimi kulturnimi prireditvami.
