The assertion that the final assembly can only be as good as the material is well shot is not always true. Editing is the stage in which the film is re-created for the third time, and its charm lies in the fact that it opens up many possibilities of narration.

Through an example of good practice, we will learn about the entire process of post-production of TV series, which involves the Coordination of a huge amount of filmed material, a large team, and strict time limits.
18: 00 different approaches to editing
Round table / / 90 min
At the round table, we will discuss different approaches and processes of the editing process for different audiovisual genres; feature films, TV series, documentaries and commercials.
The guests of the Round Table will be Andrej Avanzo , TV series editor, Andrej Nagode , film editor and Jan Lovshe , TV commercials editor and Uja Irgolic , film editor.

Trditev, da je končna montaža lahko le tako dobra, kakor dobro je posnet material, vedno ne drži. Montaža je namreč tista faza, v kateri se film na novo ustvari že tretjič, njen čar pa je v tem, da odpira mnoge možnosti pripovedovanja.

Okrogla miza // 90 min
Na okrogli mizi se bomo pogovarjali o različnih pristopih in potekih montažnega procesa za različne avdiovizualne zvrsti; igrane filme, TV serije, dokumentarce in reklame.
Gostje okrogle mize bodo Andrej Avanzo , montažer TV serij, Andrej Nagode , filmski montažer in Jan Lovše , montažer TV reklam in Uja Irgolič , filmska montažerka.
