The name Mi2 appears on the Slovenian music scene for the first time in 1995, and on the air of our radio and TV stations the band breaks through with the song dub (1996), and about a year after that it confirms its presence on it with the song Teta Estera.
After the departure of the founding member Robert Fuhrer-Fiki, the then band, which also consisted of Vojko Hlupic and Vanja Janez, and today's members Egon Herman and Jernej Dirnbek, split up. In 1998 and 1999, Tone Kregar, Robert Novak and Igor Orac Peter join the group and together they record The Album of the year (2000), which brings a series of hits: come with me to the spa, and you went, Ode gudeki, love under poplars, and most of all SN drank with you, with which the band becomes a constant guest of smaller and larger concert stages.
After positioning in the first years of the band's activity and consolidating the band, a period of publishing successful albums and compositions follows. And this period continues to this day. Over the years, the group has produced hits such as St. George. Margaret, wake me up for 1. may, you are not this, Styrian sky, waiting for you as a jerk, sweet as honey, pure fuck and many others that you will be able to listen to on the stage of the annual Khislstein theater.

Ime Mi2 se na slovenski glasbeni sceni prvič pojavi v letu 1995, v eter naših radijskih in TV postaj pa se zasedba prebije s skladbo Črtica (1996), kakšno leto zatem pa potrdi svojo prisotnost na njej s skladbo Teta Estera.
Po odhodu ustanovnega člana Roberta Firerja – Fikija se takratna zasedba, ki so jo sestavljali še Vojko Hlupič in Vanja Janež ter današnja člana Egon Herman in Jernej Dirnbek razide. V letih 1998 in 1999 se skupini pridružijo Tone Kregar, Robert Novak in Igor Orač Peter in skupaj posnamejo Album leta (2000), ki prinese vrsto uspešnic: Pojdi z menoj v toplice, Pa si šla, Oda gudeki, Ljubezen pod topoli, Najrajši sn pa s teboj pil, s katerimi bend postane stalni gost manjših in večjih koncertnih odrov.
Po pozicioniranju v prvih letih delovanja zasedbe in konsolidiranju benda sledi obdobje objavljanja uspešnih albumov in skladb. In to obdobje traja še danes. V vseh letih delovanja je skupina ustvarila uspešnice kot so Sv. Margareta, Zbudi me za 1. maj, Ti nisi ta, Štajersko nebo, Čakal sn te ko kreten, Sladka kot med, Čista jeba in mnoge druge, ki jim boste lahko prisluhnili na odru Letnega gledališča Khislstein.
