The conversation with the author will be conducted by the translator of the book Peter Kuhar and Lenka Kuhar Da Animkhelov.

Amazing, impressive, stylish finishes and poetic novel, well-established, internationally recognized, the Czech republic, pisateljice, which, in June, in the year 2024 in the city of Maribor, on the invitation of the Czech republic, the publishing House mlýny spent a couple of weeks, and that would be created by the text, the second largest slovenian city. A book was written about white and Black Magic, The Meaning of writing, the life of a fly and a hypnotist, and the Maribor miracle. A stroboscopically blurred love novella full of magical realism. Maribor now, Maribor Once Upon a time, a story about a city that exists, and a story about a city that does not exist, which does not exist, because, as the author writes, "time does not play any role, Time is crumpled paper, soaked with the bitter kindness of earl GRE.«
About the author
Dora Kapr Fablov (Brno, 1975). Award-winning author of books for adults and children, creator of radio documentaries and various reportages, and one of the most prominent internationally renowned Czech writers. He lives in Berlin. In Czech language, he has published more proznih a part of (and some even in the German translation of the Berlínský zápisník (The record, 2016), Utrpení a jiné žánry (the Suffering of the and other genres, 2022), Zimní kniha o lásce (a Winter book of love, 2014, 2024), as well as two editions of there was also a book of the Návraty to Želar (the Return of the Želare, 2005, 2009). The novel Because of hypnosis (originally issued by the publishing House větrné mlýny, Brno, 2025) is made in Sacramento in the summer of 2024.

Čudovit, izjemen, stilno dovršen in poetičen roman uveljavljene in mednarodno priznane češke pisateljice, ki je junija leta 2024 v Mariboru na povabilo češke založbe Větrné mlýny preživela nekaj tednov, da bi ustvarila besedilo o drugem največjem slovenskem mestu. Nastala je knjiga o beli in črni magiji, pomenu pisanja, življenju muhe in hipnotizerja ter mariborskem čudežu. Stroboskopsko zamegljena ljubezenska novela, polna magičnega realizma. Maribor zdaj, Maribor nekoč, zgodba o mestu, ki obstaja, in zgodba o mestu, ki ne obstaja, ki ga ni, saj, kot zapiše avtorica, »čas ne igra nobene vloge, čas je zmečkan papir, prepojen z grenko ljubeznivostjo earl greya.«
O avtorici
Dora Kaprálová (Brno, 1975). Večkrat nagrajena avtorica knjig za odrasle in otroke, ustvarjalka radijskih dokumentarcev in raznovrstnih reportaž ter ena najvidnejših mednarodno priznanih čeških pisateljic. Živi v Berlinu. V češkem jeziku je objavila več proznih del (nekatera tudi v nemškem prevodu), na primer Berlínský zápisník (Berlinski zapisnik, 2016), Utrpení a jiné žánry (Trpljenje in drugi žanri, 2022), Zimní kniha o lásce (Zimska knjiga o ljubezni, 2014, 2024), prav tako dve izdaji je doživela tudi knjiga Návraty do Želar (Vrnitev v Želare, 2005, 2009). Roman Mariborska hipnoza (izvirnik je izdala založba Větrné mlýny, Brno, 2025) je nastajal v Mariboru poleti 2024.
