This evening we will get to know more closely the author of Zig Kastelic , who in conversation with Tomaz Gorce will present his book you, in my blood.
You, in my blood are the memories of a child, a teenager and an adult son of a mother who struggled with cancer, addiction and depression. Ziga lost his mother in the first month of the coronavirus epidemic. He had started writing the book many years earlier, only at the time these were mere memories and conversations because he did not want to forget it. He finished it at a time when sympathy between people seems to be gone and it remains only to prove his own identity.
The book is the love of mother and child, regardless of the situation in which they find themselves together or each on their own. In it, moments of despair and happiness can be read through innocent children's eyes, and at the same time through the eyes of someone who understands all this differently, but with the same basis.

V četrtek, 23. marca 2023, ob 19. uri , vabljeni v Krajevno knjižnico Mokronog na predstavitev knjige Ti, v moji krvi in pogovor z avtorjem knjige, domačinom Žigo Kastelicem.
Ta večer bomo pobliže spoznali avtorja Žiga Kastelica , ki bo v pogovoru s Tomažem Gorcem predstavil svojo knjigo Ti, v moji krvi.
Ti, v moji krvi so spomini otroka, najstnika in odraslega sina matere, ki se je borila z rakom, odvisnostjo in depresijo. Žiga je mamo izgubil v prvem mesecu epidemije koronavirusa. Knjigo je začel pisati že veliko let prej, le da so bili to takrat zgolj spomini in pogovori, ker je ni želel pozabiti. Končal jo je v času, ko se zdi, da sočutja med ljudmi ni več in ostaja le še dokazovanje lastne identitete.
Knjiga je ljubezen matere in otroka, ne glede na položaj, v katerem sta se znašla skupaj ali vsak na svojem. V njej se lahko trenutki obupa in sreče berejo skozi nedolžne otroške oči in hkrati skozi oči nekoga, ki vse to razume drugače, a z isto osnovo.
