This year, the Karavanke Folklore Society celebrates an important Jubilee. "We have been leaving a trace for 60 years" is our guiding principle of this year, with each project being part of the story of the group's long-standing activities and its contribution to the preservation of local and national cultural heritage. We mark all events with the idea that for 60 years we have been leaving a trail – a trail that connects the past with the present and future of our community .
The Jubilee year was enriched by the members of both singing groups with the musical release of wedding songs that once accompanied wedding customs and Customs. In terms of content, it follows the whole process – from falling in love and proposing, through the farewell of the bride to the wedding and life after the wedding. The songs will be accessible on digital media.
The music edition will see the light of day on the 17th. in May 2026, at 17.30, at the Museum of Trieste . It will be presented in the form of an event that will combine a concert of folk songs and a presentation of the accompanying booklet .
The project clearly shows that it belongs to this year's series of events that celebrate the long tradition of the Karavanke folklore group, while offering visitors a rich musical and cultural experience that takes them through the life, Customs and habits of every person.

Kulturno društvo Folklorna skupina Karavanke letos obeležuje pomemben jubilej. » Že 60 let puščamo sled « je naše vodilo letošnjega leta, pri čemer vsak projekt predstavlja del zgodbe dolgoletnega delovanja skupine in njenega prispevka k ohranjanju lokalne in tudi nacionalne kulturne dediščine. Vse dogodke obeležujemo z mislijo, da že 60 let puščamo sled – sled, ki povezuje preteklost s sedanjostjo in prihodnostjo naše skupnosti .
Jubilejno leto so člani obeh pevskih skupin obogatili z glasbeno izdajo ženitovanjskih pesmi, ki so nekoč spremljale poročne šege in navade. Vsebinsko sledi celotnemu procesu – od zaljubljenosti in snubitve, prek slovesa neveste do svatbe in življenja po poroki. Pesmi bodo dostopne na digitalnem mediju.
Glasbena izdaja bo luč sveta ugledala 17. maja 2026, ob 17.30, v Tržiškem muzeju . Predstavljena bo v obliki dogodka, ki bo združil koncert ljudskih pesmi in predstavitev spremne knjižice .
Projekt jasno kaže, da spada pod letošnji sklop dogodkov, ki slavijo dolgoletno tradicijo Folklorne skupine Karavanke, obenem pa obiskovalcem ponuja bogato glasbeno in kulturno izkušnjo, ki popelje skozi življenje, šege in navade vsakega človeka.
